Hi, all,
I was wondering if my body measurements are near what others here have. I've already noticed a subtle change near my rib cage. It seems like the fat has dropped off below the ribs and is now lower towards my waist. I also already have some stretch marks on my upper inner thighs, which is a little scary. I don't want to stretch the skin too quickly!

I am using the transgendercare.com measurement technique to measure my body's changes.

Here are measurements, please post yours (unless you're too bashful or embarrassed) here as well. I hope I'm not considered tooooo big! :)

Hey Lorianne, here's mine.
chest just below the breast muscles - 32"
bust - 34-1/2"
waist at belly button - 31-1/2
hips - 34-1/2
butt - 34-1/2
thigh at crotch-R side - 19-1/2
weight 135
This is what they were mid Feb 07, they have not changed yet, but the shape of my areolas has changed, they're no longer flat. They have a kinda cone shape and the nipples are very sensitive to pressure, they hurt if you push on them or scrape or hit them with something.
I'm taking 100mg of spiro per day and 2 mg of Estrofem per day, I just started my 3rd 28day supply today of Estrofem. I've been on spiro sense last November, I was taking herbals, but they just weren't strong enough for my body and high metabolism.
A Darlene

Vaerise, you have much better waist to hip to butt measurements than I have, I hope I can be able to develop that way as I go along.
I can understand your dissatisfaction with your chest and breast measurements, it's gotta be frustrating. It sounds like your genetics just don't allow for a lot of breast development, but you probably will need to gain some weight in order to develop much more. Breasts need fat tissue to fill out. You might lose some of that wonderful waist measurement in the process, but that may be the only way to gain breast size.

After 9 months, my bust has grown 3.5" to an AA cup. My body hair is down about 85% and my genital area smells like a woman's. And several women ave commented my skin is a lot softer.

I had time release pellet implants last July and again in November with another set of 4 to be put in this Saturday. And an estrogen booster shot most months I did not get pellets. This is the preferred technique for older patients in the LA area.

This is considered the safer approach as far less of the hormones are processed through the liver. They get used before they get that far and the risk of blood clots is far lower. Though not as low if you did not take them.

I am about 6 months into a program of moderate HRT. While I am making good progress in the breast department, I have very little if any change to my hips, thighs, and derriere. I am slender and would welcome ANY additional shape to those areas.

Other noticable changes, ie one size smaller shoe, three sizes smaller jean, one size smaller top, and one size smaller bra band, I can attribute to loosing weight.

Thanks for the advice Amber :)

I am trying very hard to put on more weight but its kinda hard for me because I am one of those that have a very high metabolism. I'm actually looking for food that will add alot of fats to me and I cant think of anything else other than diary products like ice-cream.

The small bust size does grant me a slight advantage since I am in drab mode more often

Shellybean, yes, my stretch marks on my legs are even more apparent since I first posted this 3 days ago. I feel the fat redistributing toward my hips and thighs. My women's skinny jeans from American Eagle Outfitters are beginning to fill in especially in the hips. I'm glad about that. Yay!

Did anyone mention that hormones usually make you gain weight?
Measurments, Sorry I do not take them. I am 17 lbs. overweight and trying to loose that so that I can fit into a size 10 dress again.
I go by size only, but I can tell you that my butt has snugged up the jeans better, more curvy looks! I am now wearing more low cut and open tops to boot.
Yes there has been a lot of changes, but more subtle ones, walk has changed, shoe size, general distribution of body mass, all for the better!

38 chest

43 breast

39.5 hips
32 waist.
Thighs, I went from 18 to almost 22....I have very femme thighs now, in shorts a lot of people comment on that but it's not a bad thing...

Yes that fat is normal there, it does settle down!! Get used to it for a while though and excercise? I had a hard time with that and the pooch, as I backed off the HRT so did that fat but the curves stayed...

I'm only REALLY seeing how femme my hips are now, I can feel it when I wake up, they don't push into the mattress enough and my lower back can be sore if I sleep funny....If I la y on my side on the floor they stand out a lot.

Oh and those hips, those WILL be bone improvements, not just fat, I think I've fully proven that one, and my chiropractor commented on it as well but I did not say anything...she just noticed that suddenly I've got hips over hte past year and a half.

So despite I'm not fully transitioning I like where I'm at right now....

Oh ya the backside, that'll swell up a bit too...I needed it though..

Scottie, it sounds like you're happy with the results so far. My doctor just upped my estrogen dosage from 4 mg to 8 mg a day, and he said that he was sure that I would finally begin to really notice some major changes during this next period of 2 months.

Skin keeps getting smoother and feels almost like my wife's skin now. Just waiting for the hair to thin out more still....
I'll post my new measurements tomorrow when I take them
