I had the day off on friday so I decided to dress up and go all out with makeup, suddenly my mother came home:nailbiting: . I quickly changed and went to work removing the makeup. I got it all off or so it seemed. When I was in the car with her about an hour later we were driving when she said I looked "cute", and not in a sarcastic manner. I started to worry so when we stoped at a resturant I went to the bathroom and sure enough I had missed some of the mascarra on my top lashes, they were way longer and darker than usual, I am not sure if she really noticed the mascarra or what, but im definitely going to start paying a little more attention to cleanup.

I wore mascara one night and had to get up early to have a breakfast with my buddies.
When I showered, I didn't wipe off the mascara too well and it smeared under one eye. During the breakfast, one of my buddies called me on it.
"Were you wearing make-up last night?"
I laughed and made up a lame excuse which everyone seemed to believe.

I wear it all the time and have been told many times it looks like you have eye makeup on. I have denied it but I think i'll start saying that I wanted to highlight my eyes more and didn't think it was any big deal. We will see what the response is from that. My wife knows I wear it all the time and keeps telling me someone will see that I have eye make-up on.

I wear it everyday also, but the key to remember is a little goes a long way. Don't get dramatic... just a bit. :2c:

There was a day I put on mascarra and forgot about it; my wife noticed it that evening! Wordless denial...

I wear mascara to work every day now. Had the boss's girlfriend (who works in the same office) say that my lashes looked lovely...bless her!

This happened to me. I had washed up, but there was a smudge of mascara left over on my lower eyelid. My boss told me I had something under my eye and then tried to peer closely at it. I said, "I'll take a look in the bathroom mirror," and washed it off in the bathroom. When I got back I told him it looked like grease, as I had been working on my car before work and probably wiped my eye with greasy hands. My excuse seemed to work.

I worry about missing some eyeliner or mascara. What I really worry about is leaving out the mascara bottle on the sink and forgetting it until someone comes home. There's just no explaining something like that in this house. :D

Hi
I used to work as a paint sprayer... had to to work on a cabinet one saturday morning... The cabinet had to be powder coated (a process that when cured is like an enamel coating) in blue....this complete and ok went on to spray black...at the end of the shift I washed up and got a bus into town to go straight to my local bar....Whilst on the bus people were getting on and staring at me... It was only when I got off the bus and went straight to the toilet and looked in the mirror...I saw what looked to be blue eye shadow and thick black mascarra around my eyes....:heehee:

Left a new pair of Black hose on the bed one day before going to the Gym. Thank God wife knows, and put them away. Been alot more careful since then. In fact I now have the proven Sandy "check list".

Hugs.

What I really worry about is leaving out the mascara bottle on the sink and forgetting it until someone comes home.

A few weeks ago, I accidently left the bottle of nail polish remover on the bathroom sink the day my wife came back from a week away. Fortunately I happened to notice it before she did -- she doesn't use that kind of remover!

I finially found the correct makeup and powder for my skin tone. Since then I have worn makeup and powder on my face to work and no one has noticed. Even my wife did not notice until she accidently found my makeup in the bathroom in the hallway. I told her that I used it to help me look younger while I was looking for a new job and kept using it because I liked how it made me look. She seems OK with it for right now. I even found a pale Pink lipstick that I can wear too. It is almost the same color as my natural lip color, so again no one notices except me. LOL

One time I was sitting on the couch, the I was going through my clean up mind routine. Have to do this, cause my wife doesn't know anything.
Then I found out I forgot to take off the mascara :D pfffffffffffffff.

Last week she said I should use mascara, cause I have very blond, so none visible lashes. :)
What to tell her: eager YES now, or more hard to get,,, nah... euhh OK?

I have a terrible habit of losing things. When I worked in a shop, I would lose a tool I had just been using. Search the shop, no tool. So I'd have to start cleaning up the entire shop, bench by machine, putting everything away as if I was leaving for the day. After 20 minutes of this, I'd go back to the bench I was originally working at, and find the tool sitting there in plain sight. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:
I suspect there's actually some syndrome I suffer from: Consciousness Deficit Disorder or something. As a result, I'm paranoid about makeup, and I really have to make the effort to search for incriminating evidence every night I dress up.

I have gotten a bit carried away waxing my brows, as recently as three weeks ago. No one notices. If I don't remove EVERY molecule of mascara, my GF for sure will notice, and I get some looks.
I accidentally found a new (I think) line of economical eye makeup at WalMart sorted according to the colour of your eyes. My eyes are a very light sky-blue, and the make-up line is a medium brown. Except when I am being especially ****ty, I don't think I will ever use black mascara again.
So, Friday night I was experimenting with this new makeup, and developed a 'look' that I felt was not bad.
Went to bed, got up Saturday, usual chores, had a meeting at 11 am. Had my long Saturday bath, did my 'detail' Saturday bath and shave, got dressed, went to the meeting.
As new people joined the meeting, the seating shifted, and a gay friend sat next to me (The whole world knows he is and I am not), but he kept making eye contact and saying 'cute' things. Thought nothing of it until I got home and "Voila!" There Is the answer. The brown mascara is indestructable! Although I wasn't trying to look 'cute', but when I came home and looked in the mirror, well I had great lashes.
How do you remove washable mascara?!?!?

This reminded me of something. When I was a kid I would borrow my sisters things, and take the utmost care to put them back exactly as they were when I was done in order to avoid suspicion. Now that I'm 30, and even though my girlfriend knows, and is very supportive and accepting, I find myself obsessively putting things back on their hangars after I wear them, exactly how I got them in the first place. I don't even think about it any more.

I wear mascara to work sometimes, but I apply it very lightly. No one seems to notice. However, on a couple of occasions when I have returned home after one of my business trips on which I have been able to dress en femme, I have not cleaned my eye makeup well enough. Twice, that I recall, I saw it before my SO did. On a third occasion, she saw the smears around my eyes and commented but didn't seem to think that it was anything but ink or dirt or something that had gotten there accidentally.
I plan to wear it as often as I can. The light application does not seem to catch my SO's eye (at least she has not yet commented on it).

I actually went the other extreme. Scrubbed my face so hard witha washcloth trying to get all the make-up off that I have permanent red marks under the corners of my eyes. Only after that did I discover my wife's make-up remover pads. Oops.

There is just one thing to remember, you use a mirror to put the makeup on, use one when you take it off.....BJ

Well it wasn't mascara for me but fingernail polish.
I was in a trip and had stayed up late at the motel dressing and just staying in the room. I had bought some pink nail polish and put it on my fingernails and toe nails. I didn't go to sleep till late as I hated to stop since it was fun. Next morning I got up showered and walked across the parking lot to a Burger King for breakfast. When I handed the money to the girl behind the counter is when I noticed my nails were still a bright pink!! At that point there was nothing I could do. I had to wait for the change from a $20 and I had already ordered. I did get a few looks but at least I was over 1000 miles from home so I would never have to see any of them again.
