Shocked at the Library

I went to the library today to return a book and the woman behind the counter startled me when she said, "Can I help you sir?" I almost didn't realize she was talking to me but, it was a good feeling. I just wanted to share.

Something kind of funny once happened to me... I was waiting to return an item a a department store, and the lady at the register said something along the lines of "I can help you sir." So I walked up to the register... forgetting I was "en femme" at the time! X[ Once I realized she was actually talking to another guy, I felt a bit ridiculous, but I still had to stay until it was my turn to return my item... I wonder what the woman must have thought!
