When I was staying with family over Easter we watched some home movies from when I was like 11/12 yrs old.

And omg... I always imagined I must of had a squeaky high/girly voice... but no! Not at all. My voice is that of a boy! I was very pleasantly shocked to find this!

So, the high/girly voice I sometimes do when I'm feeling awkward nowadays is obviously something I've learned... an act!! Because my natural voice and demeanour is of a boy. (Lol I sound like a right husky voiced little cockney lad!) And when I say I feel like I'm putting on an act to act girly... it's true!

So that means I can talk all low like I want to now without feeling guilty, or worrying that people will look at me weird... because ... hey! It's my natural voice so nerr to anyone that doesn't like it!

In some of the videos my friends (boys) were there and there was like no difference between us!

And on one bit I was talking with my gay male cousin and there is like no difference between us at all apart from the fact that I have long wavy hair! How cool is that? :D!
(And no it's not because he is girly! He is very much a male... just a sweet gay one!)

And no I don't mean that I was a butch little kid either. I was boyish... but not butch.

You know how I always say that I am a girly boy... and not a boyish girl....but that it's very hard for people to see a girly-boy when he happens to have a girl's body?

Well, watching this video I could totally see what I mean haha! 'cos I am blatantly (to me) a feminine young man/androgynous little creature.

A silly soft boy, that's me

Pretty neat, Poc. Just goes to prove, the more we get to know ourselves, the more at peace we become. I'm glad you had a chance to discover this.

I am glad you had this discovery.
for me, it opens my mind the natural balance in our lives.
Hopefully, for all of us, the world will continue to turn tobe more androgynous, so we have a place to be.

Well, we knew that. ;) So now that the home movies gave you a glimpse of your own past and you now realize that you have always been just what you say you are, "a feminine young man/androgynous little creature", what's next? I mean, has it helped you find some peace - some end to your confusion? Or do you think this is a step into some new direction? Not that it has to be - just wondering.

Well it made me think "omg... I'm not making it up... I really am what and who I say I am!" That was nice.
Makes me feel more secure about myself and who I am, because for a long time (due to a bunch of stuff) I was a bit lost & confused as to who I actually was and also doubted myself about what I could be.
It is good to have yourself reinforced hehe.
It kind of made a lot of things slot into place. Which is a real relief actually!
And also made me feel like I like myself

So to answer your question properly... yes it has helped me find some peace and ended a bunch of confusion!! Don't really know about the new direction thing...!

Now I am going to hug you lol! :hugs: What? I just felt like hugging you hehe!

I think you found out, like a lot of us do, that the past holds a lot of keys to our future.

Hey, cool!

Yeah, in that video I saw of you you didn't sound feminine in the least, so I'm not surprised that it wasn't any different when you were a kid.

I forget how I sounded when I was a little kid, but I suspect I was relatively high-pitched. And speech impediment'd.
