I like the choreographer's interpretation of masculinity.

The lyrics do concentrate on the negative aspects of masculinity, though, and the line "I wish I could act like a boy" seems fatalistic to me, as if there's something (besides ethical integrity, in this case) stopping the speaker from doing so.

Interesting video. She's a good dancer, and I like her in the suit. But I think the song isn't about being a boy, it's really about wanting to treat men the way she sees them treating women ("like a toy"). :p

Wow honestly I never really thought of it that way...

I guess its kind of like when non-tg entertainers and comedians do drag and end up doing a bit which is really an over-generalize critique using stereo types portraying females in a negative light...

But I gotta admit though, she's sexy all butch and I love the boyish dancing too!!

I like it.
It's good to try and make girls think about being treated as an object. Why should that happen? How would guys like it if they were treated that wya, etc? It's very cool, I like it.
And they were all dressed so nicely! They didn't looks like cheap flesh! Huzzah!
Also, I think it is also a response to the way gender is portrayed in hip hop videos.
