I just wanted to give all of us TG folk a pat on the back. :love:

John's thread reminded me how I sometimes ponder on the fact that many TG people are pretty bloomin tolerant and patient and good tempered.


Because, what with the (sometimes extreme) physical discomfort that accompanies trying to make our bodies appear the right shape, and also the emotional pain that accompanies many transpeople to varying degrees...we would totally have an excuse to be really grumpy!

I know that everyone has their problems, but some of the stuff we deal with on a daily basis, is enough to make someone really irritable and miserable.

So yay us for being pretty amazing really hehe :happy:

Yeah guys, I wanna say, you're all totally awesome. So many of you are in such hard situations and instead of always griping about it we tend to break out the rum and have a party. (Not that the griping is always bad. For the person needing the whine it gives us an outlet and a place to get sympathy. For the people responding it lets us feel helpful when sometimes we can feel very helpless, and lets us know that we're not alone.) Basically this is really awesome place, and you're all about the coolest people I've ever met.

Basically what I was saying was.... we (transgendered people) have some really uncomfortable stuff to deal with, both physically and emotionally.
Those discomforts would be enough to make us (or any person) really grumpy!
And yet for the most part we are really lighthearted, upbeat, nice people.
Which is really cool. :cool:
