Hey sisters! I've just returned from the anniversary trip I posted about a couple weeks ago. My wife and I drove to Austin for some shopping, dining and spending the night. It was a great time!! She had suggested a visit to Tabu Lingerie in Austin. I had heard they were quite tg-friendly. I had fun there. They had some nice things ($$$$) and a lot of cool toys too. I bought two pairs of thigh high stockings and a fishnet body suit. The clerk gave me a punch card to have punched each visit; working toward the gift certificate! LOL. She obviously knew everything was for me and was very nice. My wife pointed out another couple in the store after we left. She said he was looking at everything while his wife looked disinterested; I felt lucky that my wife and I were laughing and having a good time together. The only time the mood was threatened was when I pointed out the strap-ons and suggested that might be fun. She said, "you're never satisfied, are you?" I replied, "no, of course not, never!"
Later, OMG, that body suit was the single, sexiest experience I can ever remember!!! Damn, it felt so good and I felt so sexy in it!!! I think she thought so too really, we had great sex, with me in the bodysuit, wig, heels, and earrings!! Oh baby!!! I ended up buying four pairs of thigh highs and a cool bra at Foley's department store before we came home tonight. Overall, I have to say it was a super trip, with lot's of good memories. Thanks for listening to my good news girls!! Olivia
oh, p: I wore my Lauren jeans to the mall with some heeled, strappy sandals. I wanted to wear a bra under my tee, but chickened out. I heard a little girl in Foley's tell her grandma, "look, he's wearing girl shoes!!" grandma, "march, straight ahead!" I had to laugh, such honesty from a child!! O

Ah yes children can spot things like that and have no shame in speaking their mind. Glad your trip went so good. Grrrrrr on the bodysuit, that's meant in a good way ;) Welcome back.

Love

Thanks for the great replies girls! Yeah, it was a lot of fun and yes, I can't wait to go again, lol. Racquel, it was our 28th anniversary. We have a LOT of history, between and behind us. She has a pretty good sense of humor I guess, but the acceptance has been slow and tough in spots.l I still love her. AND I love you girls too! Thanks for the support, please keep it up! Olivia

Happy twenty-eighth Olivia. One thing I have noticed, you say your wife has a great sense of humor? So has mine (in our 21'st year) I wonder if this a common thread with accepting s/o's and does this facilliate their ability to accept our "hobby".
I can't think of a g/g on this forum that does not have a great sense of humor.Just a thought.

Racquel you might sure be right about that! Chrissie, we did have a great time!

btw- I booked our hotel through priceline.com. It was a great deal! I had never used that service before; we had a very nice room at the Park Plaza hotel in Austin for $40. You can't beat that-we splurged and had room service breakfast. And, then, uh, lot's more fun!! Anyway, I can't wait to go again, Olivia

Fantastic! I was in Austin two years ago this month. I wasn't there to buy lingerie, but I was there! It's an interesting town. I'm glad George doesn't live there anymore.

Hi Susan! Yeah, Austin is a cool town. Sometimes, too cool, lol. Heck, even the restaurant busboys cop a "cooler than you" attitude! Haha, maybe they are cooler than me, anyway. There is lots to do there and some great dining too. Of course, great bands to hear every damn night; you could spend a fortune hearing them all.
and George? well, the less said the better...Olivia

We used to shop for risque clothes for my ex in shops like that. What fun it would be to go back for myself.

BTW, anyone who quotes Rickie Lee Jones has got to be cool. She's too cool for words.

Olivia,

Glad you had such a great time. And I think that Racquel is onto something there. My wife has a great sense of humor (she married me, didn't she :D ).

Oh Sherri, ain't she cool? I love everything I've heard but her first two albums still get played a WHOLE lot by me. Great to hear about another real fan,
"Coolsville", "Nighttrain" and "Last chance Texaco" OMG They just define cool for me...Olivia
