I can't believe this happened to me. I was online chatting in a room going by the name of Taylor of course. That's all I go by even in real life. Well, this guy started talking to me and I started getting the heeby jeebies. He ended up asking me if I liked grown men and thought it was okay to touch....ugh I don't want to get detailed. He sent me some pics through the chat with naked little boys and I freaked out!! Here I was talking to a child predator online!! I still have the photos but I have no real way of tracking this guy. I wonder if there is somewhere I could turn these phtos into. I can't believe this dude thought I was a little boy. "Shudders"

As for the photo's, I'd sugest telling the police what happened and seeing what they want to do (they can do clever stuff with IP adresses and online internet acounts and the like to find out exactly which computer in the world they where sent from).

Do you have his online name. They can trace him with that. Send it and the photos to the FBI or simply go to the local police and give it to them.

The police most definitely can track the guy from his e-mail, the username used in the chatroom and other various methods. He might not have taken the photos himself, but the photos can be analyzed to see if there's any way to tell where they came from.

If the e-mail he used was from something other than hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc. it can be traced to a local IP. If it is from one of those like hotmail, the police can contact them and get some IP's from there. It's pretty easy to do actually, trace an e-mail and track IP's. I've done some work with that.

You just click the properties and it's all logged. The only way you can hide your IP through email is by spoofing it ;) So if you have an email from the guy, you have him. The header will look something like this: - I've edited the bits in bold to hide who it was from, but it was from a hotmail account, with the IP logged and I checked it against the sender here (I can do IP trace) and it was theirs. If you need any help getting this, just let me know ;)

There is a lot of good advice already. One other thing, if he came from some dating site where both of you are members, the site should also be notified so they can block the person and protect their other members. Usually there is a members support or contact the site highlighted title where you can click and send a message to the site administrators. I always get hit on in my male mode by the Nigerian scam artists looking for money to get their mom out of the hospital or some other excuse. I always reported them to the site administrators. I went ahead and called my local police and had them come over. They took the pics from my hard drive and then I showed them the chat log. The cop kinda pissed me off actually. He was looking at me like I kinda deserved what I got. You know predjudiced people can be. I mean he definitely is going to go further with this and I may be called in answer more questions but I'm okay. Hell, I should go and work for the police as a little boy and try to catch as many of these pervs as I can. lol It wasn't a dating chatroom. I just downloaded mIRC and I went into some general chat where there are like hundreds of people. This dude was pretending to be a girl!! Then I was stupid enough to send pics. Maybe this is somewhat my fault. I mean, I am online portraying myself as a boy. I know that is what I am in my heart. What I always was from as long ago as I can remember. I'm just confused a bit. Maybe when I am online other than here I shouldn't portray myself as boy or girl.

There is nothing wrong with portraying yourself as a boy. That is what and who you are. It is unfortunate and unfair that you were born with a girl's body. But your heart and soul are 100% male.
