Well, today I as always wore Mascara while in drab. I took a friend of mine to lunch today and she looked at me for about 5 seconds, and says...

"Are you wearing mascara?"

Luckily my lashes are so fine and do not have much length, I told her no.

What a great time to open up. She knew that you were wearing mascara, she puts it on everyday.

The day before yesterday I was wearing my wig when doing some work related things on my computer at home while my wife was in bed sleeping.
When I when to bed if forgot to put the wig in its hiding place and left it next to my computer. To my horror, I realised this when I was half the way on my journey to work. So, I got off at the next station and returned home. Fortunately my wife was still in bed when I got back and was able to hide my wig before she woke up. I told her that I had left some important work documents that I needed for a meeting. I was only 10 minutes late for work alledging that I had left my wallet and had realised during my travel to the office. That was close...

I wear mascara all the time even in drab at work. If anyone notices they don't say a thing. I wear brown and only on the upper lashes.

I got dressed last night (on the road for work). I was real careful to remove all the eyliner, I felt like people saw something all day but the real test was was my wife when I got home. All clear, but I have been there once.

Hugs.

Why were you wearing mascara in drab? Would that not cause one to ask? Maybe I missed something...

Wow Katie, you sure like to live dangerously! What if your wife woke up and decided to come check on you at the computer? - Or any one of lots of other possibilities while your wife is in the same house.

I hope you have your speech all planned out, because some day....

Hugs, Lori

Wow. I need to be careful and remember how perceptive people can be. How long have you been wearing mascara in drab, fun4me?

I, too, wear mascara in drab most days at work, and I also wear brown and only on my upper lashes - love the look of them long! Fortunately, I have pretty long lashes anyway, wear glasses, and have deep set eyes, so it's not as easy to detect. But if my wife notices, I will tell her yes I am wearing mascara because I like how it looks, no apologies.

When I look back at those days, I know now that I wanted to get busted. I was pretty passive about some things, and it was my way of letting something happen to me that I wanted, but was afraid of.

I'm a lot more direct now (although I try to not be pushy), and I'm generally happier for it. But it took a while for me to get here.

That was a close call! You can't be too careful when it comes to removing makeup! It goes on a lot easier than coming off, LOL! My wife has tipped me off now and then before we go somewhere. I can look in the mirror for an hour and swear I've removed every trace, and she will look at me for 2 seconds and spot something.

Well, I guess you could take that chance and reveal your secret to her. It's always nice to have someone else to talk to about this. Maybe she would even help you buyng some stuff in the future:happy:

I got drilled about my eyebrows by a friend who works at a local bookstore last week(with my dad present!) It was funny because he asked if I got burned or injured at work. I simply replied that I was trimming them and messed up. He bought it because we quickly dove into the next topic which was grindhouse:happy:

Well, now I remembered that some years ago (ten years or so), I got busted by some friends wearing shiny transparent nail polish. I told them I was having treatment cause my nails were very sensitive (who was I trying to fool...)

I got busted a few times...once was the next morn after a party. That nite after everyone left I dressed w/ my Gf and slept till the late afternoon the next day. We were so out of it we never realised that my brother checked on us and saw my sleeping w/ a mini skirt, heels and black hose on.

I got caught by a GG friend, but she knows that I crossdress.
One day, I had been dressed and got a last minute call that she and some friends were meeting for dinner. Well, I was running late so I hastily took off my makeup and then headed out. When she saw me, she knew I had been dressed and just joked about it so it was all good. :heehee:
Thank goodness nobody else noticed.

I sort of got busted a while ago after getting my new wig. I wore it for a little bit while my wife and kids were out, making sure to have the wig put away before they got back. What I didn't realize was that I had a dent in my hair from the band of the cap and it was pretty noticable in the back (my hair is normally cropped to 'bout 1/2") My wife asked what had caused that and my answer was the obligatory "I don't know" -- the truth at that point. Later I realized that having a shower after doffing the wig is a very good idea.

Don't think I've been caught with makeup on. Though my daughter once asked me if I was wearing eye-shadow when I most certainly wasn't :O

If they can see a mascara line at five feet, just what do you think they can recognise when you are fully dressed at five feet ?

My wife is always telling me that I have mascara on and people will notice. I guess it's just something that goes with the territory. My sons best friend once asked me if I had mascara on and I said yes, and then said no I don't, why does it look like I do?

Because I always wear it. She has never noticed it before. I put it on very light, and closely matches what little eye lashes I have.

I guess you can say that this is my way of making the best of the situation.

Many years ago I went to work wearing a trace of left over lipstick. A fellow worked noticed and asked if I wore makeup. Where the thought came from I'll never know, but I'm glad it did, I replied "I guess I got it kissing my wife good bye this morning". No more was said. From that day on I had my wife check me over before I left the house.

Last week i was going to have a bath and asked if anyone wanted to use the toilet first, everone said no so i locked the door and started to fill the bath,i then decided to try some new eye shadow i had bought as i could wash it of later.
On went the foundation, lipstick, eye shadow, blusher and finally the wig ,then to my horror the wife was coming up the stairs saying she had a upset stomach and needed to use the toilet,i said i would get out of the bath so she could come in,i quickly hid my wig and putting my flannel in the bath ( and splashing a lot ) quickly washed my face and neck.
I wrapped a towel around me and unlocked the door and went quickly into the bedroom as she went passed me into the bathroom.
i then looked into the mirror in the bedroom and found that my eyeshadow had not washed off  luckly she spent several minutes in the bathroom as i scrubed with her makeup remover.:OMG:

I had a very curious experience with my ex when we were separationg. She tolg me that one of my co-workers had told a friend of her's that she had caught me one day wearing mascara. Ihave never worn it. Obviously I told her that either she, her friend, or the co-worker had made it up. And I could do it with a straight face. ;)
