Well, finally got a little time to go out and I made an appointment at the MAC Cosmetics store for a full face transformation. Took a full hour and I can not say enough good things about the girls at MAC. They are without a doubt a fantabulous group of gals and incredible artists.

Well after looking liek a million bucks , I walked and shopped in the mall, got a brand new guess hobo bag (its adorable) and went and got a drink in a very crowded casino bar in my casual outfit. Guess Jeans, white GAP favorite T shirt and a cute Orange Gap pullover. Very casual so I blended in very well with all the other casual girls.

Went to the casino and gambled (thank karen) and Won a little money, btu not enough to cover the 500 I spent between cosmetics, ($300) the guess bag ($100) and the Gap clothes earlier ($80.00) but, had a great night and it was a pretty uneventful night. Only got made a couple times and they were more like a second glance.

The girls at MAC said it was unfair that I had these beautiful blue eyes and cute straight nose , and really nice lips. Said it was so unfair them being on a guy. They at least were appreciative that they got to make me over. I've been invited back for them to make me over for a "pro" class. That should be alot of fun.

Just had to share. Had a great time. I'll have to make more time in the near future.

Almost forgot to post this. Did have a close call when wrapping up the night. Forgot my makeup remover and had to de-femme. So went into the local Walgreen's which is normally dead at 4:00 AM but went in and the clerk was a nasty little immature kid.

I got my cold cream and a diet coke, dealt with the clerk's "have a nice night, SIR!"

go to walk out the door and there were 4 18-24 year old guys out in front of the store hanging out when I went to leave. No time to turn back, just hold my ground, walk out , walk past and go right to the car. They all gave a look and muttered a few things under their breath, but were not confrontational. Thank god for that.

I'm condsidering going back in there in boy mode on night on the same shift and dropping something really messy in the aisle so the little punk has to clean it up. Whoopsies.

Rachael - People can be so rude and unnecessarily mean. Sorry that such a nice day ended on a sour note.

Rach... unfortunately, we have young (and old) jackasses everywhere. Sorry to hear that your night was spioled by some young disrespectful twit. Kudos to you for not letting it take your spirits down. Hope all goes better next time. erickka

And Rach,

Don't forget that that disrespectful little twit is quite probably a disrespectful little twit to EVERYONE, so don't take it too personally. There are a**holes everywhere and it is easy to assume that one of them is singling US out when in reality they are just being a**holes all the time to everybody.

You handled yourself with dignity and tact. Give yourself a smile and try to resist the tempatation to go back and spill a gallon of sticky syrup on the floor. That really wouldn't be very ladylike, would it?

Lovies,
Stephenie

No, it wouldn't be very ladylike. But I wouldn't be dressed as a lady when I did it. :heehee:

It really wasn't even a downer. I've come to be able to handle the disrespectful little twits (I like that term) and not let it get me down. The 4 young guys in front were a whole different story. Anytime bodily harm can come into the equation is a bad thing.

Still doesn't feel good when it happens though.

No, hon, you're right. It doesn't feel good when it happens.

And watch out for the young toughs. They are SO insecure in their masculinity that they can be a real danger to us all. Not just to CDers, but to anyone who might be a little different.

Lovies,
Steph

Hmmm . . . I've been thinking about the casino thing myself! Glad you had a ball - cross dressing SHOULD be fun!
