... I cant believe it .. I just saw a Wedding Dress in my size ... 3 to pick from in TK Maxx .. reduced from £400 ($800) to £40 ($80). and ... I DIDNT buy it .. I must be ill ......

So how do you deal with this bit ...

Then you find a designer stunning silk skirt, your size, reduced from £355 to £50 .. and knowing you just LOVE it and certainly there will be an opportunity to wear it .. you wilt and but it! oh and then there just happens to be a pair of shoes MADE for the skirt!!
Then you go home and try it on and it is JUST (honest) too small
Do you
1) Take it back for a refund?
2) Keep it and VOW to lose weight?
3) If you take the skirt back do you take the shoes back too seeing as you bought them to match the skirt?
4)Buy something to match the shoes?

Decisions, decisions ...

Well no 1 unless it's really stunning then no 2 would be worth the effort. If you choose no 1 then no 4 would be in order. Justabit

ps show us a pic then we'll know better.

I agree with Staci! By-the-way, when I was shopping for a wedding dress, my wife sid to plan on buying a size larger than I would normally wear. I guess that's a GG rule. :D I did when I bought mine, and my wife was right!

I'd go for option number 2, vow to lose the weight! But failing that, then yes take it back and get something to match the shoes.

Decisions. Decisions. My head is spinning. No matter what else you do, keep the shoes. Someday, you will find something to wear to match them.

We need a conversion chart for other countries. In U.S. size 2 you'd have to have a body like a shower curtain rod.

You have to keep the shoes. You can never ever have enough. I always keep everything to use motivation to slim down. My sister in-law has gotten some nice things thanks to that motivation. She seems to think I'm the thrift store.

I will take the skirt back, if the shoes don't go with my other outfits they go back too.

Sizes? I have size 8 pants & size 4 pants... The only difference seems to be the hips. The 8's have more hip room, but the waist seems the same.

But on track... Take the skirt back, keep the shoes. You can never have too many pairs of shoes, can you? You never know, you might need just that shoe for something... And if you've never worn them yet, all the better.

I don't buy a skirt without a top to go with it, or a top without a skirt to go with it. I always shop for a complete outfit, shoes included. I do look for things that I can match with what I have already, but I never buy just a top or bottom thinking that I will find something to wear it with in the future.

there are few questions for which a valid answer does not include "buy more shoes" so well thats usually my advice...

in this case, keep the shoes because you never know when they'll be oerfect for something else

Maybe I don't hate Josi after all! lol
(And yes, this was a poor attempt at humor - I'm not quite that shallow . . . I don't think I am . . . pretty sure anyway . . . )
