Well today i went out...for my second time...and i was alone...

So here the story:

I am in Montreal (2hour from my house) for buiness. after a hard and complet work day...i go back to my hotel, put make-up, some nice cloth and start to chat and surf internet..

I found this club : "Le complex SKY" in Montreal at what...5 min of car of my hotel in the Gay village.

Tonight there a Karaoke show and the animator is a drag queen named :"Karine O'kay" :P

So i called there...asked to be sure of what was the event and also asked if they have any probleme with CD clients...they said no.

So i finish to prepare myself (sorry no pic..dont have my cam with me) and jump in the elevator to go to the parking...jump in my car..drive next to the bar...find a parking and realize that there about 15 ppl just outside of the building having a smoke...

Im scared...

I open the light in my car, look at myself in the mirror:
"Nyana, you are damn cute, and this is a drag queen show..not like they will look at you, they are here to see a DRAG QUEEN"...

well find some courage, get out of the car, walk inside...

Magic..nobody checked at me.

Have a seat alone in the back...and look...

After 15-20 min, i feel thirsty, so i move to the bar, the barman says hello and offer me a beer...i take one...he say nothing at all, not even a "weird" look.

After an hour...(still on the same beer LOL) take a second one...and there a guy that stop and say "HI"

(in my head) "OHH NO..what i do, he want to discuss with me..with my voice he will ...reconize me..."

So i start to freak out, and realize that ...well the guys asked for my name...

what i do......

-Hi, im Nyana
-Nice to meet you, im Nicolas
-Are you from here?
-No, im not.
-Where are you from?
-I am from Quebec city

So the discussion goes like that....after 3-4 mins of taking.

-So, you are not a real girl right?
-No im not
-Yeah, i realized that after 2-3 mins of talking with you..but damn you look pretty, i even thinking that you were a cute asian.. ;)

OH MY GOD!! I feel so HAPPY to hear him say that im pretty cute, and well he just started to talk to me, BECAUSE he was sure i was a cute asian girl
(im not asian at all, but he said my face look like one asian from far)

He even said : "YOu must be happy that i tell you , that you look like a real girl!"

-----

Anyway after 20-25 min, he is a straight guy in a gay bar to look at lesbians LOL

(Well maybe im the same, im straight, im...officialy a guy...and i look at the girl in the bar that are all...well lesbians :P)

Anyway....after a good hour talking with him...i said bye bye and came back to my hotel.

-------------------------

So that my little story, i realize that first, ppl don't care, and second...i do look like a girl...just need to work more for the detail..and maybe my voice...and nobody will see the diffrence...and woah...first time in life ever (as NYana or not) that someone come to have discussion with me in a bar that i dont know.. and it feel DAMN GREAT!!

Great story, you have balls (irony, lol) going to a bar by yourself en femme. That's awesome.

The next step is hooking up with the Lesbians! All your fantasies rolled into one!

One thing about Montreal, at least when I lived there, is that women know how to dress.
Nyana, you may think that your adventure is unimportant, but for an attractive and presentable CD to be in public, and to be apparently well-received, is important. It helps to make the public more accepting and more aware. It is sad, however, that you could not find a more reputable (?) venue for your evening.

Congrats!
Two weeks ago, I went out for my second time (See my post A day that's twice as nice (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57518)) and it was better than my first.
Keep it up and it will only get easier.

Cheers!
