Ok, my FTM boyfriend and I both have..pretty huge internet presences. We appear everywhere without really intending to. And now there's a big internet rumour going around that my boyfriend is not a boy.

ok..some background info. And I'm going to be vague because we're wary of lurkers..i've been stalked one two many times now. We do performance art and for those performances, as well as the rest of our lives, I identify as female and he as male. Our pictures and work have surfaced around us and some peasant posting these pictures has the audacity to say "HE'S NOT A HE! HE'S A GIRL!! HE HAS BOOOBIES" to which i say.. BOOOO. There are no boobies to see! So anyhow this peasants comments are the spawn of a new trend to assume that he's female.

Why won't people freaking let up? It makes me want to quit performing forever...

or worse..are we the one's in the wrong? I mean you don't want to sit down and have a long dragged out conversation about being FTM everytime you meet someone, when people ask you are you female or male, must you say "no i'm trans" isn't the point of this to be able to go out and say "HOLA! I AM MALE!"

He passes about a hundred times better than I do, and when I get up and crossdress on stage I always leave something that is definitely female on me just to counter balance it. I don't pack, I don't bind, I pretty much rip my shirt off and prove that I have secondary sex characteristics pertaining to a female as a means to over emphasize that he is male, and I am not.

Awww! Wren Hun :hugs: :hugs: I have to agree with Tamera and I think it has got somethin to do with my age. When I came out I used to get p***** off with ppl who were narrow minded and I used to get stressed about stuff. Now I do get stressed but not half as much as I did then. I think if they don't like it that's their problem on the whole. Yeah sometimes I do get up tight but I talk to Yachica and come here and it helps a lot. Don't let them grind ya down Hun. You're getting some good advice here. As you all ready know, there are lots of different people that make up the world's population. Some of them are real losers. What you will eventually realize is that if you let 1 loser ruin 1 day of your life, that there are many more losers than you have days left in you life. The other thing you may learn is that it wasn't really the loser that ruined your day, but it was your response to the loser.
Just brush these creeps off as life's misfits, and let them remind you of how happy you are that you are not like them.

Wren, you and Sparro seem like really cool people. I get the sense that you put yourself out there, well yeah esp if you are performing, so when you do you attract attention both positive and negative. It comes with the territory - lots of losers will be jealous of your free spirit and want to take you down a peg to make themselves feel better (misery loves company). So just ignore them and be who you want to be. You're in a much better place than they are...that's why they are jealous.

Don't waste your time defending or explaining. You two got some exciting living to do! So just go do it and be proud of the debris of confusion you leave in your wake. You won't be the first, and certainly not the last to do so.

Wren believe me, I know from experience that the kind of people who spread crap around with a shovel on the net have waaaaayyyyy too much free time. Kinda like their parents were doing cloning in their kitchen and forgot to clean out the pots and pans first and use less cockroach DNA - know what I mean?

I've had people stalk me over the net as well, and it does suck. But don't let it get to you - there are idiots everywhere and there always will be, period.
