Hey all! I'm so excited about this. Tomorrow is my biggest shopping trip. I've budgeted close to $200 for this. I'll be buying more outerwear, and also undies (upper and lower) and, maybe even my first pair of forms! I'm going with my friend who's been the most supportive one in my life since I first came out to her (she was also the first one I came out to). I can't wait, and I will be sure to let you all know how the trip went, once it's over.

Oh, and also, just in case you're wondering, I am NOT going en femme.

Woo hoo! Don't be nervous tomorrow, just get out there and enjoy your shopping spree! We'll look forward to hearing all about it tomorrow night! xoxo Tammi

I'm not super nervous. I've been shopping with her before, and shopping by myself before...but with the prospect of getting underwear and forms, the stakes are higher than they've been in the past. Still, I'm excited about it!

I know how that is... When my SO allowed me to dress whenever I wanted, we started shopping for me together and I went wild. (Still do... Don't take me in the ladies dept.)

I buy a lot at Walmart because it's close to me and inexpensive. I'm retired and on limited income now so I get what I can afford.

Walmart's gel push pads are very inexpensive. (about $20 per pair) I use 2 pair super-glued together at the less-curved end to give a "C" cup which I like. Maybe one day, I'll get a good pair, but they're expensive. (Better than $200.)

My wardrobe is growing slowly but surely and I'm replacing older, outdated clothes with newer fashions when I can. I still keep 2 older dresses I have for house cleaning. (I'd never wear them for anything else.)

I know you'll have fun, but just remember... Women's clothes can be a lot more expensive, so shop smart and look for sale items.

Don't worry, lol, the outerwear I'm buying will mostly be from a thrift store. Cheap cheap cheap, even if it doesn't fit perfectly.

if it does not fit (perfectly or otherwise) why buy it? dont settle for less than perfection. you are you and should only be perfect.

I buy it because I can't tell for sure if it fits perfectly until I get home with it. I don't try stuff on in the store, but me and my friend are both pretty good at eyeballing it. Now I'm just 3 hours away from this shopping trip and I've never been more excited! :D

Sorry everybody, trip was cancelled. Friend couldn't get the car. Shortly afterwards we had a bit of an argument...no big deal, I hope...but I think we're both a little bruised for the time being.

So why can't you try clothes on? I was in a Salvation Army and it wasn't a big deal. I took what I picked out into the dressing room then hung up what I didn't buy. Don't waist that money P J.
