Well continuing on down the path of the divorce, I had to talk to my female cousin yesterday about a different matter, but took the opportunity to mention the divorce which has not been broadcast beyond our immediate families. I had no intention of telling her anything about the reason, but she mentioned she had nothing to do right then and "maybe you need someone who cares to unload on?" So I did.

I took about 5 minutes to basically set up the word TRANSGENDERED, and then quickly answered the couple of questions everyone asks. Long moment of silence.....

"Well, I still love you and want to get together before the year is out again. Nothing has changed.....you have always been "UNIQUE" in my mind.

I like that description.

I am sorry about the divorce but I am glad at least one family member is supportive.

It is usch a pity that people are so closed minded, for what ever reason...

Again in this case it is her loss...I too have a great neice who I came out to a long time ago, she was great about it...

Good luck...

Emily Ann -- Glad your cousin is ok with your CDing. I guess we're all unique then. When I was leaving a job several years back, a GG told me she was going to miss me because I wasn't like all the other guys in the plant. If only she knew! And, Karren, you're going to have to post a story about that encounter.

KarrenI prefer being called a "sick pup". I'll do anything for a dog bisquit (well almost anything:heehee: ). Remember Quick Draw McGraw's dog Snuffles?

People don't like feeling they've been duped. Sigh. Why can't they just evaluate beauty for beauty?

Well, it's always fun to lead someone along for a while... but I usually drop a few hints along the way... or come out and just tell... and it's fun to see what happens.... many it's "Click!!" hello... hello.... To embarased to admit that they were attracted to a guy i a dress.. lol Many leave and come back and ask questions, and a few get downright nasty and cll you all kinds of names... plus some!!! Goes with the territory...

I like the word "Unique". Describes alot, when my wife found out she said "there has always been something different about you from other guys". Well, I am one of the lucky girls. Things are working out.

Thanks for sharing.

Hugs.

Karren, the things you do for amusment, are really a hoot!!!! I've gone into my favorite LB store and found something I wanted, went to pay, with a SA that knows me in drab, to see the look on their face when they see the name on the credit card. It's a Kodak moment...BJ
ps.... I can't wait for my wife to get home from work, to show her the picture you pointed out. Three hours apart,WOW!!!!!

I feel bad for what you are going through and I am glad your cousin has lent an ear. If I don't miss my guess you are the type of person that will come through this OK. I look at you and see the inner spirit that it takes to deal with lifes lessons. I wish you every good thing that can happen and if I could ever help...I would be honored if you called on me...
