Ah ha! Calliope, for somereason I saw her and was thinking Audry Hepburn and now I see why - the hairdo - circa her heyday in films.

Ever read Naomi Wolf's The Beauty Myth ?

Women have been flipping out over this stuff since forever - and, with all of our insecurities, we need beauty "winners" and "losers"?

Actually it's called a sense of humor. Or maybe that's humour....:D
I actually think I look damn good for my age and "birth defect", but it's a bit rude to say so, and a little envy is fun sometimes :happy:

Atleast some ts girl out there is getting a mercedes for doing something outside porn. It' a positive and a negative.

The existance of FFS proves being a TS is easier based on looks , easier to integrate into society , easier for people to be accepting of you , easier to pass.

I used to get so frustrated when i was boy ,watching the pretty girls get treated so well , and what did i get for being a pretty boy? punched , bullied , teased and unaccepted.

I don't agree. I pass fine - at least I pass fine as a TS (which is all I ask) - and I believe displaying decent parenting skills has been my ticket.

I'm sometimes moaning and groaning when I see the lovely lasses, feeling completely insecure, then I remember: Hey, I'm not 25 years old anymore.

I challenge surgery, etc. - ideologically. I believe part of our "outsider" status owes to the idea that we need medical intervention to "correct" ourselves.

I've gone to Thailand many times. Because of their religion, transexuals are more accepted there. And, it helps if they can look that beautiful too. These pageants are so commericalized, and the Tiffany Show is a successful business that fuel more ladyboys to have surgery. Thailand is a poor country so these girls sell sex to paid for it. There are lots of - "not so attractive ladyboys too" - but they put them in the back row! They do look great and if I looked like that, I'd too would want to be a girl than a boy.
