A happy thought... The day started cool and rainy, but the sun has just come out and the temp has gone up 25 degrees!
I took 15 minutes off from work (yes I actually do work while working at home) slipped out of the jeans (bell bottom girlie jeans that hang well down over my 3" strappy espadrilles, Karen!), ribbed top, sweater and undies, and then:
Slipped into an aqua, teal, and yellow flowered one-piece bathing suit, flipflops and shades, went out to the back yard with my puppy, and scooped leaves off the pool cover. I'll open the pool this weekend.
It feels WONDERFUL to be out in the sun nearly girl-nude!!!
Life can be so good sometimes, I feel guilty.
Of course now I have to figure out where the puppy hid my panties. :heehee:

pesky animals. Just trail him for a few hours. he will eventually dig them up.
Summer's a problem for some of us. I like my shaved legs, but I am expected to wear shorts (as a man) in the warm weather, and my wife doesn't like the smooth look when I am in my man stuff. (She also thinks other people will notice, but I have my doubts.) It's OK in winter cos it doesn't show...

I hate summer, not as much as I hate fem jeans..... but it's a close second... Too damn hot for makeup, for nylons.... what fun is crossdressing in the heat?? And it's tough playing ice hockey...... All that heat and humidity make it difficult to skate..... Wake me up when it's fall again.... Thanks....
:D

The wig is starting to feel less comfortable as the temperature goes up.:D

The last little bit of snow just melted on the local ski slope a few days ago. I walk up the slope for exercise during warm weather, and I was amazed to see the little pile of snow at the base of the slope.
Get those halter tops out girls! :D

Isn't that funny - I DON'T like summer! By the time I cake the makeup on to hide the beard shadow and put a wig on to hide the bald head, I'm already hot. Step outside when it's above 80 degrees (here in Austin that is 90 to 100 degrees) I am going to melt!

Well This girl loves the summer, I do get to shave year round and love the feel of the cool air on my legs, Plus you see more and more ladies in skirts. If you can't shave in the summer, bleach the hair on your legs or wear a nice pair of light weight pants. Remember you don't have to always wear skirts and pantyhose.

Summer is okay, but I sweat in a wig. When it's really humid, forget it. I prefer autumn because I can wear my sweaters and skirts.

Not a fan of summer either. Shaved legs is not really problem for me. My biggest problem is that air conditioner does not work all that well on the second floor of my house. As it gets warmer I start to get very hot and sweat ruining my make-up. Jocelyn

Summer... Ahh, warm sunshine, breezy nights, and... Days when it's 90 degrees in the shade! I don't wear wigs anymore, and I know I won't be able to wear makeup because, I don't sweat... I rain. I might have to break down and buy some mens clothes just so I won't mess up my good stuff with sweat stains.
I'll keep my body shaved and I expect to use more pancake makeup instead of the liquid, to start. My SO says that the powdery makeup actually helps her face keep cool in the summer. I've never worn any makeup in the heat of summer before, so it's going to be experimental for me. Got to eat lots of fruits, that's supposed to help you sweat less. (Ha!) I've already installed my air-conditioners, so I can still do what I want in the house anyway.
:hugs:
I'll take the cards as their dealt.

Went out to the pool again for a few minutes, but the thunderstorms were moving in fast, and holding an aluminum skimmer handle with one end grounded during a lightning storm is not a wise thing. Particularily while dressed. Two piece lilac/rose tie-front halter top. Have to wear different suits to avoid incriminating tan lines.

HAY!!!! I have waited all winter for spring. Around here it has just sprung. There is still snow on my near by mountain, and there is still some snow where my camper is parked, "for trout fishing season". After spring I will chat about the dog days of summer. Besides it's still cold around here. My wife and kids had the heat on when I got back from my fishing trip today. Just depends on where ya live. Around here summer is way to short and I try to soak up all the heat I can so I can dream about it all winter long.

There's an old saying about living in Maine: "Summer is when we change the ice".
I've always thought that there would be a real market for a bug repellant that smells like Chanel #5

All those fun "summer" things.... add another check mark to the advantages of winter!! Hehe

Summer year round here, I love it, did not move here to be cold! Got real tired of snow up over the top of the pickup truck and even 4X4 couldn't go. Put up with some rain on my side of the Island.

Well, I have been wearing my shorts for two weeks with my legs shaved and only one person has noticed, my wife. Just goes to show that we are more conscious of ourselves than the people around us are.
