As promised here is a little input for the forum. I am new here, but have been crossdressing since ... well I was 9 years old when I accidentally discovered that I would much rather dress in lovely girly things than idiotic boy clothes. That is a matter for another thread at some point i guess
This week was very interesting. There is a very nice upscale consignment shop selling ladies wear two doors away from the shop where I work. I had gone there about a year ago and bought a pretty red skirt suit. The owner of the shop asked me what size ? and I just said well the waist has to be about 29 inches and the top is 36B. She showed me a couple of things and I bought one. Like I said this was a year ago. I was in boy mode, and never mentioned anything about Suzie or crossdressing.
Last Friday I left my office and drove past her shop and on a sudden urge I pulled into her parking lot. As I came in the door I saw the owner, her name is Faye, she said, "Well, long time no see." She was smiling, the shop was empty and I said, "You don't look very busy today, can you help me pick out somethings?" Well to make a long story short, she laughed and said of course she could help. She asked me how I liked the suit I had bought before! She knew all along that it was for me!
I have a new friend! The best kind a girl like me could ever find! She picked out an entire new outfit for me and has been emailing me tips about my makeup and little hints that could be useful for me.
I am so happy with this!
I have come out to very few people, and living in the Bible belt repressed South all my life did little for my self esteem, but my new friend has made me feel so good about Suzie that last Sunday night I actually called my sister, who had no idea about my little secret and told her to check her email. I sent her the pic that I am attaching here. She looked and said, "Is that you?"
She accepted Suzie right away, even sent me a little card in the mail that I got Thursday. The card has a little ugly pug dog with a wreath of flowers on its head. Inside it says "Sometimes you just need to feel pretty!" and below it she had written ... "And that's cool, thank you for finally telling me"
