The downside is ..

it really is hard work, you gotta work really fast (no time for mirror primping to perfection), a normal day can be7am until whenever they get the piccies they want, you don't have any control over your pictures, to start you only get $200 a day with basic expenses, they will make-up and put your hair, in styles and colors you KNOW don't work, you will have to wear some really really gross clothes (u ever seen what passes for sexy undies in Germany or what TV SCENE magazine thinks is elegant?) and there is little kudos in being Miss page 63 sex ad SUN girl or anything but embarrassment when the world sees you in that gross frumpy dress and dreadful hair-do, looking awful in NOW magazine :(

Hey don't let me stop the fun of the fantasy, i had them too ... the reality is their prime concern is not to make you look beautiful, you are a commodity and they use you to sell their product! Unless you look drop dead sexy gorgeous at 7am in the morning, hung-over, during your period, wearing red hair, orange lippy, green shadow and a polka dot tartan tweed peep hole split crotch mail sack ... u will be like most models ... the girl in the tenalady, tampon, haemaroid, vaginal thrush ad, or those poor girls dressed like grannies in the mail order catalogues .... u ever considered the movies instead?:)

ask Lisa of London, we did that shoot in Manchester together ... we did all the standard outfits .. then there was this rail of eeek pvc stuff ... and they told us if they had time we were being moved on to wear that!!!!

Thank god we managed to avoid actually getting piccies taken in it ... we both checked it out and could find absolutely nothing we wanted to wear ... it was peep-hole, split crotch, thigh boot, slave ****, dreadfully cheap n'tacky porno stuff! Now hey ... if it had been sexy cute ... we'd have worked all night too .. er in the studio ... not the street :)

My immediate reaction was, "I'd say Yes in a heartbeat." I voted accordingly. I looked at it from the viewpoint of being "out", which I am (though not blatantly so). As a crossdresser model, I would work to be the best I could be, which hopefully wouldn't be too bad as a crossdresser. I couldn't hope to compete successfully against a GG model.

After reading Tiffany's perspective, my reaction changed to probably not. In the Real World I do much better in front of a computer and whiteboard, along with graph paper, pencils, and erasers. I even - PLEASE DON'T TELL ANYBODY! - like my job! The thought of retirement is silly to me. I'm having too much fun. I'd rather make money doing what I do best and enjoy crossdressing to the extent practicable.

Oh and Tiffany, you look gorgeous in that outfit and in the Hooters girl outfit too!

A few weeks ago I photographed a TG friend for a mailorder business and web site she owns. It wasn't the professional stuff being talked about here, but I did get a pretty good idea of what is involved.

We started at 8AM at a cheap motel room, breaking for a pizza lunch (delivered by a very good looking young man who didn't bat an eye at a girl dressed in black hotpants and a tank top (me), or the other girl barely dressed in lingerie), then non-stop until 6PM.

After many, many wardrobe changes (she does requests) that ranged from schoolgirl sexpot to black leather mistress, and over 200 pics, we showered, changed, went out to dinner and hit the clubs. By midnight we both went home and collapsed!

I'd do it again anytime! And next time, she says I'll do some modeling ... can't wait!
