I agree with all of the Dr. Phil comments, but me and my wife stumbled across that episode. It was actually pretty funny. I told my wife to let me know if I ever got to be as self absorbed as those guys.

If we get beyond the negative feelings you all have for Dr. Phil and look at the content of the show you will see that the words of the wife could have come straight out of the mouth of a wife of a CD. The first husband was over the top and self absorbed. That was the whole problem. Dr. Phil sort of lost the ball on the advice but I found the show interesting proof that crossdressing really has little to do with why wive's have a hard time with acceptance. Lack of communication, mutual respect and self absorbtion are big culprets in hurt feelings, and this goes both ways. :hugs:Kitty

Don't know if he actually hates men or not, but he does know how to play to his audience - feminist minded women who get a warm feeling inside when men are put down. He makes millions telling women what they want to hear. The fact that Oprah has made him a star also tells you everything you need to know about Oprah's agenda too - make as much money as you can by tapping into sexist and feminist attitudes, often her show is little more than soft-core porn for female emotions.:tongueout

I'm not really sure feminism is an enemy. Much of the feminism I've read that is less than 15 years old seems more than reasonable. Unless the feminist has a double standard or is still caught up with some of the attitudes of '1st wave' feminism they should be more on our side than against it.
