With all of the girls out there with their vast experiences, I was wondering what you would all estimate the percentage of CD'ers is who:

1. Always perfer a man when they are dressed?
2. Never want a man?
3. Perfer a man when dressed or not?
4. Never had a man, but are curious or unsure how they would react given the opportunity?

My :2c:gueses are:
1. 70%
2. 30-40%
3. 30%
4. 90%

Thanks

I think you're vastly underestimating the number of heterosexual crossdressers.

My numbers were totally guesses, and I don't have enough first hand experience to really know one way or the other. Not my intention to offend anyone, but I am just curious as to what the breakdowns are. Whatever they are, it won't change anything for me, nor for anyone else. Just curious. Thanks

I am bi but I believe there are many more straight cross dressers than there are bi or gay. The figure which I read some where was %89 of cd's are straight.

If you go back to past threads, you'll see that this subject has been discussed quite often.

I don't know about numbers or percentages, but it's my feeling, that the moment someone says "Attracted to a man", there will be people comming out of the woodwork, screaming, "Not Me! Not Me!".

I'm bi when dressed and attracted to men only then.I think the pecentages are 70% straight, 29% bi or bicurious, 1% gay.

Hi

Back in 1999 I did an on-line survey that asked some questions about sexual orientation. Here's the
link:

It's undoubtedly a bit dated. Someday, if I ever get the energy, I'll try it again.

I think that your number two should be edging about 90%. I am no expert, but from what I have read, most are hetrosexual and do not look to other men.

I do not fit in the scale I like a guy sometimes when I'm dressed, but I like women all the time dressed or not.

When you say "perfers a man" does that include T girls like us ? I mean I think quite a few "hetro" gurl's when all femed out are attracted to other fem T'girls but they might not be interested in guys who look like guys.

Sadly there has been precious little research into gender issues. Most surveys I have seen (although most are horribly unscientific and the others are merely unscientific) indicate that the vast majority of us are hetero.

Recently I heard a statistic quoted on Australian television that at least 30% of Australian men had had at least one same sex experience.

So if CDs are less than that then it would mean that we were more often straight than non crossdressing men.

Beats me but love this new math.... Shouldn't 1 + 2 = 100%? and 3 is less than 1 so that's good... but # 4 seems way high....

1 - 25%
2- 75%
3 - 12.5%
4 - 20%

Dressing has very little or nothing to do with my sexual preferences.

This thread seems utterly pointless to me with people simply plucking scientific looking statistics out of the air based on what they would like to think and nothing more. It would be more meaningful if somebody either offered references to poll results or actually conducted a real poll in here.

I do agree, however, that when the "prefer a man" topic comes up, there is a loud chorus of "not me, not me" and some people seem to get rather angry that the question was even raised...which seems a bit odd.

I see somebody has started a poll, good work !

ditto---especially when you consider all the fantasy's that CDs seem to have about dating men---I would say however that the number of bi and gay cds who have actually made their fantasies into reality is somewhat smaller---around 25% total maybe? For those who think that most 90% cds are totally heterosexual I would point out the number of threads on this site dealing with dating men and other cd's---it appears to be a rather common theme here--I remember in particular one thread started by a cd who was worried she might be gay because she had fantasies of sex with men and other cds when she dressed---if you have fantasies of sex with guys and cds then you probably are at least bisexual in your orientation, even though you never follow through with it.
