There are some lipsticks that don't smudge, etc. -- but I personally don't like how they feel on my lips. Give me regular lipstick and gloss any day -- just keep refreshing it like any girl has to do!!! :D

so you get lipstick on the neck of your beer bottle. you then go to the restroom and reaply. it also gives you time to think (or do what ever else is done in the ladies room.)

Drink with a straw. You don't mess up your lipstick as much and the bartender will appreciate not having to get the lipstick off a glass.
As for smoking, don't. Don't worry about cigarettes messing up your lipstick, the other damage they cause is far far worse.

A lipstick that I use (that isn't really a lipstick in the sense it's not a "stick") is MAC Pro Longwear Lusture Lip colour (http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15113&PRODUCT_ID=PROD8503)
On their website it says: "Long wearing, comfortable on the lips. Won’t shift, transfer, feather or smudge." .... and believe me this is the understatement of the year! Do not wear this lipstick if you don't want it to be evident that you have been wearing it well over 12 hours later! ... even if you have been out to dinner or out for drinks at a bar, or snacking. This stuff just does not want to move unless you directly apply make up remover to your lips. OK, it lessens, but your lips are still redder than without it, even the following morning (for me). :D

I actually like that little red crescent left on the rim of my glass. Going off to to the bathroom to reapply is part of the fun.

Yup, one of the nice things about being a girl. You freshen your lipstick and get to do all of that "magical" stuff in the restroom.:heehee:

I personally wear one of the long lasting lip sticks. They aren't like a normal lip stick and you have to apply them and wait for them to dry and are generally applied with a brush rather than being a stick. They stain your lips and can only be removed with make up remover.
However, they are very dry and have a matt finish and must be worn with a lip gloss. All of these types come with a lip gloss (either at the opposite end of the tube or in a seperate tube).
They are available in a whole range of different brands that fit everyone's budget. Personally, I use the range by Max Factor Lipfinity which is £9.99 and you get a seperate lip stick which is applied with a brush, and a lip gloss that is in the form of a stick.
