You do not have to be dressed to the nines to have a nice day and enjoy that femme feeling.
I was working in our kitchen yesterday, doing some painting. Normally it's a chore that I dread but with my wife away on vacation, I din't have to listen to continuous commentary like the house is a mess, when are you going to be done, you dropped paint on the floor, blah, blah, blah! I was doing the trim work, taking my time feeling very much femme inside. I had my favorite classical music station on the radio and they were playing "Tale of Vienna Woods" by Johann Strauss. For those of you who are not classical music lovers, this music was very hot in Vienna back in the late 1800's.
I am a true romantic. If I had my life to live over again and able to choose an era, that would be it. As the music played, I could see elegantly dressed women with their hair piled high on their heads , and in their beautiful ball gowns with their long white gloves dancing away the evening, drinking champagne and having a grand time. Oh how I wish that I could have been there waltzing to that intoxicating music and wearing all those gorgeous clothes.
Later on, they played music from Madame Butterfly by Puccini. Believe me you do not have to be an opera buff for that music to touch your soul. Again, the mind goes out to Japan and the vision of this beautiful Geisha who is being romanced by a naval officer and it all ends in tragedy.
Anyway, the day moved along nicely. Wife would have been proud because I did a lot of cleanup, slowly bringing the kitchen back to normal. Logged on the forum. Read a few threads, posted a few replies waiting for the witching hour to arrive (usually around 11PM) when everyone is gone to bed . Then I took my shower and shaved, put on my make up and tried on my new wig for the first time. Put on a new multicolored charmeuse caftan also for the first time and snuck downstairs in the family room. Drew all the shades and tried to take pictures on a cheapie camera that I had bought at Wally World. Oh yes, I had gone to Wally World too in the evening. An hour's frustrating struggle netted me a couple of semi passable pics. I e mailed them to a friend and went up to the bedroom to watch a little TV. Got so tired that I went to sleep with all my makeup on. Oh yes did take time to remove the wig.
And so it ends in the day of a crossdresser,
Rita:hugs:
