I did very little today except shop First thing I did is I returned the cheapie digital camera I bought at Wally World yesterday. Will borrow my granddaughter's camera.Even have a tri pod which I forgot I had.

Then went to Target. Walked the whole store. Saw a few thing but did not want to impulse buy, so I had lunch at Wendy's nearby ( oh did I mention that I was in drab) I went back to Target and I bought a darling pair of pointy toe black slingbacks and they fit perfect. The heel may be 2 1/2 or 3 ". Not so high that I will break my neck. Real sexy looking . Love them. Bought a black kind of full skirt out of some kind of crepe material but did not try it on. I also saw a cute tunic top. The skirt was miles too big and the tunic top made me look pregnant. I also bought some thigh highs. I looked all over for front hooking bras in my size but could not find any. So I did what every female does. Returned them all for credit. I think in all my life as a man, I might have brought 1 or 2 things back. A new experience for me. (Don't lose the receipts, ever)

Later I went to another Target to actually return them. I shopped for the right size. This time I did take the clothes in the dressing room to try them. There was a young lady attendant who counted the number of pieces but did not pay any attention to what I was trying on. Did not find anything there, so I went next door to Kohl's. Went into the women's department. I am still packing about 30 lbs more than I want or need so it is the bigger girls sizes for me stil. OMG it was so hard to make up my mind. I sort of gave up on skirts for now and started to check out slacks. I found a pair of black that fit perfectly like they were made for me. But then I had trouble finding a top to match. You wouldn't think so with black but I have special problems. I can't wear anything that is the least bit open at the neck because of some very ugly scars from surgeries I have had this year.

I had noticed a nice pair of blue slacks by Polo before I tried on the black pair. Then I found this real cute white top which covers up my ugly scars. It has some blue in it and a nautical theme. I figured that if things work out and I do get to go to a party this summer, it would make a good outfit. To finish off , I bought a choker necklace of blue glass beads to further take care of my neck. Whew. and there you are ( it was dinnertime and the store was almost empty which was fine with me)

Rita, I am so happy

Oh Boy! " My grandaugher and her boyfriend just walked in and asked me if I had been at Kohl's today. I had to say yes, waiting for the other shoe to drop. They said, "We saw your car out front" ( I park in handicap spots in front of the store. Will not do that again. I do have a sticker)"and we looked all over the store and could not find you. Big sigh of relief. Of course they could not find me. I was in the ladies' dresssing room trying on clothes. Close call.

Hi Rita, I remember once about 5 years ago, I was in Walmart--er--looking at the ladies clothes as Rich. Well, this striking looking "woman" and I crossed paths and guess what? It was the Son of a friend of mine en femme. He had that "deer caught in the headlights" look when our eyes met and I recognized him immediately. He kind of scurried off and I just went about my business with a big smile on my face.

Yep,
Kohls is one of my favorites as well. Between Kohls, Penny's, Macy's, Walmart, and Meijer's, these are my favorites in the area. Dillards has some nice things to but a little PRICEY$$$. I have found some real nice clothes at the 2cd hand stores as well.
LOL
