Another hair question!

For all you girls who've been on HRT for longer then 6 months, did you see much hair regrowth if you were thinning on top, and did you lose body hair over time?

Your body hair will get thinner and lighter , but will still be there.

I am not seeing anything to write home about, but my hairdresser claims that my hair is much thicker since I started HRT. I do get many comments from co-workers about how my hair looks thicker now. I honestly don't know if this is due to the HRT or to really good hair styling.

I am taking finasteride 1mg per day also, so that may have some effect, although my endo claims it is very unlikely. I will certainly let everyone know when and if I get any growth that I can say is REALLY from HRT, and not just wishful thinking.

As far as body hair goes, it is growing much more slowly, but it's still there. My electrologist claims that my beard growth is slowing down also, but again, I want to be sure before I make any definate claims about this. So much of what we see is based on wishfull thinking that I am still hesitant to make any definitive statements about this on the forum.

I see that my beard regrowth is maybe 1/2 of pre estrogen days. I didn't notice this when I was on Fincar alone, but the estrogen changed this. I know lots is imagined-like bust development, but I am really certain about the beard business. best, helen
