The Star Trek thread got me thinking. I wait for our annual First Event Conference because it's a great time to dress during the day and meet other other wonderful gals...during the day. There are plenty of night-time activities, but that is tough for me. Days are always the best.

Besides showing up at Star Trek convention dressed as Dax, Kiera, 7 of 9's, or other female Star Trek notables, are there other conventions like this you have attended where we can transition over for an afternoon.

KarrenMakes sense Karren. If you did, the other guys would be sitting there drooling all day and getting nothing out of the convention:heehee:. Very thoughtful of you, my dear.

I just got back from a 5 day square dancing convention in Denver, CO over Memorial Day weekend (thu-mon).

I was dressed en femme the entire time, changing outfits from day wear to night wear including a "leather" tip.

The only "down" side, is that you need to know how to square dance!

See http://www.iagsdc.org to find a club near you.

Start planning today for next years convention in Cleveland, OH http://www.taqc.org/ over the Fourth of July.

You can also go to various regional "fly-ins"

most rennaisance faires are set in the time of liz 1 so the female actors were actually males in femme clothing. so try one of them. have seen several cd persons ( both ways ) at the faires i have attended and no one ever gave them any flack. some times they were the hit of the day. big bonus:drink: and :drink: and have fun wearing long dresses and being some one totaly diff from yourself.( think the sexy bar wench with cleavage.):hugs:

Oh, I'd love to have an excuse like that to show off cleavage, somewhere where show it off was considered perfectly acceptable!! Only problem is that I don't have any cleavage to speak of, and none of my forms are close enough to my skin colour to pass as real flesh.

I read that it's considered pretty acceptable at anime conferences.

I just completed my registration and hotel reservation for the Southern Comfort Conference in Atlanta. This will be my first ever crossdressing convention and I'm looking forward to it.
I hope I can meet many of you there and make lots of new friends.

Look for me at Southern Comfort. I will be there and also doing a workshop on TG support groups. If you need a "Big sister" let me know. Also if anyone wants to share a room, we can work it out.

Let's have a reception for everyone on this group.

I used to go to the PARADISE IN THE POCONOS for years, but it's now held too far east for me. It is a really high end affair...none of that drag queen or fetish stuff.
