Hi, Well the wife and I both have platinium cards at Lqane Bryant stores. Plus she gets me stuff at Avenue. I think I have 3 pr of men's underwear and I fill out a 38C or 40 b bra. So ai think she knows,LOL.
Right now I have on a bra and panties and shorts from Avenue and a shirt from LB. My puppies want to peak over the top of the bra, to see if the weather is good....BJ

Hi Victoria,
I think I am totally serious about dressing. I spend way too much money on it and I have a wardrobe most of you would die for. I live alone and do not have a girlfriend. I guess this statement sums up why I dress: I couldn't find the woman of my dreams so I decided to become her. I dress once a week to go out with other CDs. I think this answers the more basic of your questions.

Vitoria, I do believe you've covered pretty near every major question in the crossdressing world - remarkable in just one paragraph. People have written books on some of these subjects.
Let me tackle one that I consider a fundemental question:
Could I stop? - Only temporarily and very unhappily.

Whoa Victoria, too early in the morning for me to play "twenty questions". I will say , however, that I take dressing seriously because I figure if I'm going to to it, I'm going to do it right. I don't take MYSELF that seriously, however, and just have a lot of fun with it. It's easier for me to walk around with a smile on my face than it is for me to walk around being all stolid and somber.

:heehee:
Victoria, honey, I see you've been a member since Nov 06 and this is your 4th post. If you asked each of these questions over that period one at a time you'd have a couple of hundred posts! You been saving them up girl!
Relax, take a deep breath.
How serious is it for you? VERY
could you stop? NO
is it sexual? NOT REALLY - SOMETIMES SENSUAL
how much do you spend? TOO MUCH
do you have S.O.? YES
how do they feel about it? YOU'D HAVE TO ASK HER - SHE'S SUPPORTIVE AND INTERESTED
how often do you dress? EVERYDAY MOST OR ALL OF THE DAY. AT LEAST PARTIALLY, EXCEPT SOME WORK SITUATIONS
where do you dress? MAINLY AT HOME - PARTIALLY OR UNDERDRESS ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE
do you shave? YES - WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO. SOON TO CHANGE I HOPE
paint your toenails? YES
do you hide them? NOT ANY MORE
do you dress in secret? NO
do you feel normal about the whole thing? NO SUCH THING AS NORMAL - BUT I FEEL TRUE TO MYSELF
do you want to be a women? I AM ONE - BIT OF AN ODD ONE :heehee:
do you act femme 24/7? I DON'T HAVE TO ACT - IT COMES NATURAL
do you feel the need to dress? NOT NECESSARILY, BUT I AM IN BALANCE WHEN I DO REGULARILY
if you don't dress? how does it make you feel? DEPRESSED SOMETIMES, BUT SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T MATTER - BUT I'M USUALLY DRESSED PARTIALLY ALL THE TIME
or are you just dressing up cause you can and want? NO "JUST" ABOUT THAT
etc. and so on. AWW, YOU GOT TIRED TOO :heehee:

Holy cow, this reminds me of the 20 questions from "Home Alone"
How serious is it for you? Fairly
could you stop? No, tried before more times than I can count.
is it sexual? No. I agree with Kerrianna - sometimes sensual
how much do you spend? I'm not looking that the C.C. statement this month!
do you have S.O.? Not anymore.
how do they feel about it? Told her, she was ok with it (and a number of other things I wasn't as it turned out)
how often do you dress? Every day.
where do you dress? Home mostly.
do you shave? Yes
paint your toenails? Yes
do you hide them? Yes, when not at home.
do you dress in secret? Yes. Sometimes not so secret, though thats usually more androgynous.
do you feel normal about the whole thing? I'm coming to terms. Nothing is normal in my worldview & I have such low self worth/esteem thats where the no comes from and the yes comes from acceptance, so I'm somewhere in the middle.
do you want to be a women? it'd be my dreams come true (literally).
do you act femme 24/7? Not necessarily.
do you feel the need to dress? Yes.
if you don't dress? how does it make you feel? Like I'm trying to forget a part of me. It's not so much a dress and more of a persona. Anytime/where else, I'm a persona that's expected of me, that fits in. When I'm home & alone, I feel like who I am, such as it is.

do you have S.O.? Yep.
how do they feel about it? She enjoys it when I am dress because she knows I am happy
how often do you dress? Varies from every do to a few times a week.
where do you dress? Home mostly.
do you shave? Yes, but just my face
paint your toenails? no
do you hide them? N/A.
do you dress in secret? No, not really
do you feel normal about the whole thing? Yep
do you want to be a women? maybe for a few days
do you act femme 24/7? Not really.

if you don't dress, how does it make you feel? depending on the day I can be ok with it, and other days it bothers me that I cant

Same with me Darling and I should add that I have two sides, both of which I like and have fun with. One is feminine and the other masculine---I'm comfortable with both and could no more cut one side out of my life than I could the other.

do you hide them? only from the kids.
do you dress in secret? My family knows, but I don't dress in front of them, except my wife.
do you feel normal about the whole thing? Everything I do is normal for me :P.
do you want to be a women? I have thought about it
do you act femme 24/7? Not really, unless you count my desire to shop, fashion, my make-up skills, etc......

How serious is it for you? Very, I am tired of putting on the front of being male.
Could you stop? No, and have no desire to.
Is it sexual? I used to think it was, but I know now it is the companionship I need.
How much do you spend? All the extra money I have, I love thrift stores.
Do you have S.O.? Yes, And I couldn't make it without her.
How do they feel about it? She is good with it, She helps me be me.
How often do you dress? Every day-undergarments, as much as I can fully.
where do you dress? Home mostly, but I do go out now and then
Do you shave? My face everyday- Body sometimes
Paint your toenails? When I fully dress, the nails are not what make the woman.
Do you hide them? Only from the kids.
Do you dress in secret? I dress and hit the car to get away. My wife and I go for car rides.
Do you feel normal about the whole thing? I feel "NORMAL" when I am dressed. Its when I am not dressed, I feel I am trying to be someone I am not.
Do you want to be a women? I am a woman inside, But I am in no way going to have SRS. Oh the pain of it all. And the cash isn't there.
Do you act femme 24/7? Not really, unless you count my desire to shop, fashion, my make-up skills, the movies I pick, etc......
Do you feel the need to dress? I have the need/desire to be me, the person inside.
If you don't dress? how does it make you feel? I get moodie, short tempered, and I think about dressing more and more.

OMGosh you are inquisitive !
I'll try to sum it up like this......my gender issue cost me a long and happy marriage, so I'm very serious about it. Therapist didn't help either. I'm a cheapskate so the spending is in check (for now). I am 24/7 shaved, pantied, and painted toenails (clear on fingernails). I like to go out as myself and enjoy life.
Glad you are here sis...now take a breath. We have the rest of our lives to get to know each other.
Emily Ann
Hi
It's a little bit old now (1999) but here is a survey that was done on-line. It discusses much of what you are asking about.

-- I'm serious about dressing. It's part of who I am. No, I'll never stop.
-- When I was a teen, I get turned on by it, but at that age, I got turned on if the wind was blowing the right way.
-- I tend to spend more on my clothes than anything else. Once in a while I'll spot that dress I just have to have and say... $100!... Well, I'm worth it.
-- I have a woman living with me that I care for very much. She supports me to the point that If I really want to come out of the closet fully in public, she'll be there to hold my hand.
-- I dress every day when I'm at home and shave everything in the shower.
-- I love pretty painted toenails and I generally wear socks if out in public.
-- I don't know if you'd call it dressing in secret or not... I dress normally every day. If I go out it's usually jeans, like other girls. I feel pretty much normal about it any more.
-- I've always wished that I could be a woman, but now, this old bod probably couldn't handle the changes necessary.
-- Sometimes I can act femme, sometimes I don't. I'm a moody wench.
-- Of course I need to dress... Got to cover the birthday suit with something. I feel more relaxed and myself when I'm dressed as a woman, and I dress because I want to and wear pretty much what I want when I want.
Now... Are you a psyche major or are you just trying to figure yourself out. I gave up looking for logical answers, it just is, I just am... I'm happy, and that's what really counts.
:hugs:

How serious is it for you? Very, I'll put like this my fem side is almost a complete seperate identity for me.
Could you stop? No, never, wouldn't want to even if I had a choice.
Is it sexual? Yes, although it's slowly diminishing
How much do you spend? Way to much, I haven't bought male clothes in a long time.

GOSH THIS IS GETTING LONG!!!
Do you paint your toenails? No
Do you dress in secret? Yes, I'm in the closet still.

Do you want to be a woman? At times yes, at times no. Unknown for now.
Do you act en-femme 24-7? No, I don't think my employer would approve.
Do you feel the need to dress? Yes
THIS IS REMINDING ME OF THOSE 500 QUESTION MMPII PSYCHE EXAMS!!:tongueout

Good questions. It's a lifestyle for me and I would not change a thing. I love who I have become and I believe it shows through. The male is slowly sinking and I have not intentions of throwing in a life jacket.

Holy smokes - what a list! Let's wade through 'em shall we?
How serious is it for you?
Been doing it all my life, risked getting caught in the military and loosing my career. Risked telling my wife 20 years ago and thus risked losing her. I carry a tool box that weighs 50 lbs, a laptop case that weights 20, and huge suitcase that weights 50 pounds every time I travel for my job so that I can dress. Add all that up, I think it means I'm fairly serious.
Could you stop?
I have tried many times. Sometimes I have made it as much as a year or two before I go crazy. I honestly don't think I can and remain sane.
Is it sexual?
Not primarily no. There is a component of that to be sure, in as much as being dressed, I feel pretty and attractive. Yes, I know that to my wife and the vast majority of women, this does NOT make me attractive, but my feelings care very little about logic.
How much do you spend?
Not as much as you might think. Once a year or so I might buy something expensive, a dress, a wig, but the majority of the time I buy my clothes at thrift stores. If you have patience, you can find some very high quality clothing there for pennies on the dollar.
Do you have S.O.?
Yes, I have a wife and we have been married just short of 20 years. She is my best friend. :-)
how do they feel about it?
Not thrilled and she would prefer I were not this way. But like many of the GG's here have stated, she DOES realize that this is part of me, and a large part of WHY I am the person that I am. Were I not a cross dresser, I would not be the same person, and she may well not have liked me.
how often do you dress?
I have an advantage that most here do not have - I travel all over the eastern half of the US installing and repairing equipment my company makes. This means I am on the road at least 4 days out of most two week periods. I take my stuff with me and try to enjoy the evenings.
where do you dress?
See above
Do you shave?
OMG yes. I have very fair skin (AKA - blindingly white) and heavy dark beard. I have to shave so close to cover the beard shadow that I make my face raw, and often can not go out two days in a row because my face is to raw and angry to be shaved again.
paint your toenails?
Pink even as I type! lol
do you hide them?
Not from my wife and children. I do make an effort to not let others see them.
do you dress in secret?
Used to but not anymore. No way in hell I'm going through that kind of effort to sit my house or hotel.
do you feel normal about the whole thing?
Normal? Define normal. :-) I was not always, but in the last 5 to 10 years I am reasonably happy with who and what I am. I am NOT ashamed of what I am. This is a huge step and I strongly recommend it to all.
do you want to be a women?
Yes and no. When I was young I recall crying many nights because I wanted to be a girl. I wished with all my heart I had been. I remember thinking that if I jus wished hard enough, it would happen - it didn't. I eventually stopped dreaming of it and moved on with my life. Today, I have so much invested in my life, and am not willing to give any of it up for SRS. I love my wife and children more than anything in the world. I love my job and my career. I would not give these up, nor damage them, in order to become as close as medical science these days could make me to female.
do you act femme 24/7?
No, or at least I try not to. There have been a couple of times when my wife would lean over and whisper warnings that something I was doing was a bit too close to the edge. Say sitting with my legs crossed, or my hand gestures. She hates that! lol
do you feel the need to dress?
Pretty sure the earlier answers established this.
if you don't dress, how does it make you feel?
Ugly
Are you just dressing up cause you can and want?.
Well at some level, "I want to" is what an possible answer must boil down to.
why? what are the reasons you dress?
To feel beautiful. To feel whole. To feel "Right"
ok here goes my answers to your 20 questions

not totally serious (yet)
I don't want to stop
not as much as it used to be
not much at all (yet)
nope :(
at least once a day
in my room, in front of three giant mirrors
yes, and it sucks, I'm switching to waxing
yep, they're still silver rite now
yes, when I'm around my mom
for the moment, but I'm coming out of my shell someday
I feel normal, but I know I'm not (according to society)
no, I'm happy the way I am, for now anyways
some might say I'm feminine 24/7 but I don't think so
yes and no, I guess it's like smoking, it calms you down and helps me relax at the end of the day
at ease, feminine, happy
the reason I dress, no idea, I'm sure it has something to do with the fact I was raised by a heavy handed mother and a non-exsitant father, or maybe it was all that evil rock and roll I listened to growing up, I'd really have to dig a while in therepy before I could tell you my reason(s)

How Serious: Somewhat.
Could you stop: No
Is it sexual: Somewhat, but much more sensual
How much do you spend: varies month to month. This month $150.00 US
Do I have a SO: Yes, wife
How does she feel: Ok with it, but no in her presence.
How often do you dress: 1-2 times a week if lucky. Varied schedule
Where do you dress: At home
Do you shave: Yes, every 2-3 days
Do you paint toe nails: Yes
Do I hide them. Yes, except at home
Do I dress in secret: Somewhat. Only when my wife is at work. She knows.
Do I feel normal about the whole thing: Yes
Do I want to be a woman: No. I like and enjoy both my male and female
roles.
Do I act like a woman when I dress: Yes, as much as I can. Still learning.
Do I feel to be a woman 7/24: No. The urges may appear during different
parts of the day, but not all the time. Plus I travel, often for more than
a month where my male persona must dominate. I'm OK with that,
although I still shave my legs no matter where in the world I am.
How does it make me feel: Great when I'm dressed as Alice, but in a
different role. I also feel great dressed in my male world. As Alice I feel
much more sensual ans enjoy the feel and the look I achieve. Tend to
be a bit more focused on getting work done within the house and in my
office at home. Time passes by faster because I'm more focused. When
not Alice I become distracted with the many things on my plate and
don't concentrate on just one and go out more often. As Alice I'm going
nowhere outside the house or even in my yard, pool or decks.

It's very serious for me.And it's definately sexual most of the time but it can also be relaxing and a lot of narcistic strutting around and good times.I don't think I could give it up.Ever.Maybe if circumstances were such that everybody I knew cornered me somehow, maybe some kind of court order of some sort and I was videocammed round the clock and watched for all signs of crossdressing.I mean if something like that happened to me I'd have to accept it but I'd be violently and volcanically P.O.'d about it.I don't think I want to be a woman but I've always felt like there was a strong feminine side to my personality.I've purged several times like 10-15 years ago and I've decided never to do anything like that again. The stuff I disposed of was expensive and I'm getting older,so like Barb says, life is short, and I want to have a lot of fun in what I guess is the "second 40 years of my life".I haven't had a chance to get all the way dressed in a little while now.A very close GG freind died and most of my clothes and wigs were at her house.Right now I'm in the process of saving up about $500-$600 for some customized clothes and wigs.I want to dress as often as I can.Well,I guess this doesn't exactly answer all the questions.I hope this will suffice.Best,Samantha

[QUOTE=Victoria M. Herrera;885570]Please shed some light to my Questions.? So that I may get 2 know myself and you better. only answer
20-some years ago, the urge would come upon me with such vehemence that I had to drive home from work...I was self-employed and had control over my time...I just had to drive home and get dressed for a while to relieve the craving. I sufferered physical symptoms....numbness in my fingers et al...just had to be dressed.
Much later now,it seems to have abated, but I remember how it was. My wife has always known, but even so, I experienced these phenomena. And now later in life, I don't seem to have these extreme urges. Perhaps for you too? So much more to say, but in brief....hope this helps.:bighug:

Ok, I'll give you a little blurb, see if it answers some things for you. Right I have dressed off and on for many years, but only started doing it seriously the last few months. I shave all over, fully dress almost everyday but I can't go to uni dressed. I have been out in public on sveral occasions and not had much in the way of problems. I have told some of my close family and a friend and reactions vary from supporting to accepting but want nothing to do with it. I don't have an SO, but when I do I would hope they would accept this part of me. Could I give it up if I had to? I don't think so. Anyway I hope that answers some things!

A lot of questions, but just let me say this, perhaps it will help you find what you're looking for...Yes I dress, yes my wife knows, yes there is a budget, yess we stay with in it, and yes I dress because I like the way I feel...
But most of all, I have accepted me as I really am and don't question it...I merely enjoy Marcie and feel blessed that I did...:2c:
