Here's the story- I'm going down to Orlando tonite to meet some girls. First time I'm going to meet anyone face to face, let alone going totally Lily! Any way, needed some gas so I did a trial run just now. Put my make up on, my nails are real pink, got my "girls" on and a nice blouse and went to redneckville to fillup for later. Nervious? You can say that. Noon and real busy. Got out and did the gas thing. Pickup trucks coming and going, people in and out of the store. Nothing! Didn't rush, just did what I always do, finished up and left. Lily pumped gas in broad daylite! Most natural thing for a girl to do!
For those that know me, yes I'm always enfem when not at work, but adrogynous, no "girls", very lite nail polish, so it might not seem like a big deal to some, but quite an adventure for me. A real confidence builder! Now I'm ready for that 2 hour drive, and meeting up tonite!
Love and xxxx, Lily

I noticed something the other day when I went to the mall. People now days are to busy on their cell phones to notice anything. So If I went to the mall dressed which I hope to do sometime soon. To many people will be on their cell phones to even bother to look at you. Anways Im glad you had a good time going out!

Cool! I live alone, and have not come out to my son yet. He's going through a tough time in his life, with life in general, so I'm giving him a break by not adding on to his dilemmas.

Way to go Lilly!
Yes, it may not seem like such a big deal to some people, but I remember the rush I felt the first time I got the courage to go out dressed enfemme and stopped at a gas station on one of the busiest intersections in town. It took a lot for me to get out and pump gas into my truck, then walk up and enter the office to pay for the gas. But, once I had done that, I felt on top of the world! :D

Omg! That's wonderful! You're so brave, Lily. I so look forward to the same experiences. I'm sure I'll get the courage to follow in all of you girls' footsteps in time. I'm now adding you to my "My Heroes" list. Good luck and have a great time tonight. Make sure to let us know how it went.
Lisa M, I agree with you. It seems like most people are so wrapped up in their own worlds to notice. A girl walking by is just another girl walking by. And I'm gonna be one of those girls! :GE:

Lilly.......Congrads......I remember when I first went out in the daylight. It was a real rush. Then I too did the fillup adventure. Even more of a rush. Then a couple of weeks ago, I had the Opportunity to enteract with non-CDers and it was great. I even then when shoe shopping at a Payless and that was a blast. Going out will become addictive, so whatch out. LOL

I've yet to fill up gas through being too nervous! Ironically, i've been out enfemme numerous times and also shopping in a large mall but not to a service station! How weird huh?! lol

Hi Lily, I was glad to have met you at Corkiethon. Interesting that we both parked side by side were waiting in the parking lot until one of us made the first move to leave our car. Hugs, abby

Sounds exciting. I'm heading to Orlando in August, but it won't be a daylight trip. Any suggestions as to night time?
Well done Lily!!

Thanks girls. Been real busy at work, and actually I'm taken back that the thread is still getting hits!
Abby, it was great meeting you, as well as the other girls that nite. Also glad that you found us here.
KM, We went to Southern Nights on Bumbt Ave. There is also the Parliment House on Orange Blossom Trail, Other then that I'm at a loss as I don't live down there.
Love and xxxx, Lily

Well done Lilly! I remember my first time out and I too was nervous. As a matter of fact I kinda miss that excitement nowadays  Anyway, enjoy having fun. It's a scary thing being en femme in broad daylight the first 10 times of doing it.
