Hi Girls,
I was just wondering if any of you who dress fairly often or 24/7 ever thought of saying to h*ll with it i'm gonna just through on a pair of boxers and be a beer swilling TV watching guy today. I get that way now and then when i just don't feel like going to all the fuss to get girlie. Lets face it as guys all we have to do is put on a pair of shorts or pants and call it done. Now we all know what effort and items you need to be a girl for the day.
Lets hear from you about this issue.

Not really.
At the weekends I am sometimes more lazy. When I am in a hurry in the morning I am sometimes happy still having some boys clothes. But in general it's my daily business.
Only time when I really get the boy thing is when I get doubts about CDing and flashes how "stupid" it is, but that usually lasts not longer than a few hours.

For me, being a guy is easy and common. Dressing is still special because it takes the extra effort.
I guess that I still feel the same way when I get dressed in "special" guy clothes too (weddings, social occasions...) where I get to wear a suit or tux. It's almost the same mindset that Rambo portrays when he "gears-up" to make all hell break loose. Paying attention to all of the little details takes me out of autopilot and makes me feel good about my appearance.

Well, I know there are girls here that do not have this problem, but I have a fair skin and a heavy dark beard. This means I have to shave very close when I go out - so close that it makes my face raw. As a result, yes, there are times I'm not willing to go through that and will not take a chance to dress.

I'm a guy 95% of the time and I tend to dress down. I've got loads of trainers, only one pair of smart shoes and 3 pairs of girlie sandals! The only time I really 'make the effort' is my girlie time. Strange that ...

Yup, like the last three days. I have had serious chest congestion and just don't have the energy.I have been taking a couple of hot baths a day to relieve my muscle and joint pain however, so I have managed to detail my shaving.

I don't dress so often that I need a "guy" day.
On my best "guy" day, I would never throw on a pair of boxers lol I'm happy to be a panty wearing beer swilling TV watching guy sometimes though :P

Don't have to think about it Brenda. Sal is on indefinate extended leave as of today for the duration of my new project. I will be answering in her stead until she returns, when and if that happens. Should be interesting anyway.;):happy:Rich

Every now and then that thought crosses my mind.
Don't want to "cross-dress" as a guy anymore.
My "acting like a guy" days are over. It's Sandy's turn.

MJ,
You envy we CDers for having the ability to just be guys WOW coming from you of all people thats awesome. I however envy you for looking so lovely and beautiful and for having great hair and skin I hate you (just kidding) MJ you inspire me to look my best while enfemme. Having my new freedom to dress when ever and for how ever long i choose is divine but i'm now experiencing my wanting to just be a guy days.

Oh my God no! That could lead to severe depression for me.

most days it is just too much efort to get dressed, not to mention too dangerous so often it is just panties underneath and when i get home i'm just to tired to even think of dressing. so i save my dressup time for special occasions.:sad:oh well it is sunday stay at home :drink: and watch the races, a good excuse to dress since no one bothers us then. they know better.

Personally, I'm so in the middle that every day is a non guy day for me now. I dress androgenously every day and just go do the guy things that are part of my day, although, fixing a car is not necessarily a "guy" thing anymore. I know of at least 2 GG professional mechanics in my area now.:D
I still own guy "whitie tighties" but they're stashed away like some people hide their femme things. I just mostly wear basic microfiber hipster panties now.
That's just me.

Have you ever gotten up and thought I feel like just being a guy today?
No, never -- not even when I was forced to look like one.

Yes I get those days sometimes. Actually the past couple of weeks there has been more of them as I have been sealed away from civilisation in a library studying! But the exam has been and now I am free to have fun. Having said that I was out for a walk in the rain today and I didn't want to spoil my nice clothes so the guy clothes were put on! :heehee:

Until I joined this forum, I thought most crossdressers were like me, truly liked being a guy, but jumped at any opportunity to dress up as a woman for the excitement and sensuality it induced. Yes, I dwell on CDing quite a bit during down times, but it no way controls my life.
So to anwer the query at hand, unless I anticipate a chance to dress that morning, I'm very content to throw on my guy stuff. Even when I do dress, unless there's some reason to stay dressed, I get the urge to get back into guy mode after awhile and get on with my "normal" life.
A thought which may bring slings my way (OUCH:mad:), the gurls who long to dress all the time, could they be dissatisfied with their guy lives...and if so, would a change in dress make their lives more satisfying?

Mitzi, I think you have a valid point there. There is a gray area between CD and TG that's hard to define, lots of us fit in there somewhere.

Before I became a girl 24/7 days I had to be in guy mode were very depressing for me. Now that I am 24/7, I can honestly say I have yet to have a day when I have thought it would be nice to be a guy today.

I never wanted to be a guy, but then I never wanted to be a girl either, though I love the sexuality, sensuality, and sheer pleasure of wearing women's clothing/makeup etc., and would do so openly 24/7 if I could - even on those days when I have not shaved my heavy beard growth!

WOW alot of very different answers to my question i'm learning quite a bit from this thread. Keep those answers coming i'd like to see what others think and feel. Lately i've been sleeping in my nightie bra pantys and forms waking up and seeing my boobs is quite refreshing. Knowing that i can go to the closet and pick out anythig to wear is awesome now that i live alone. This is all new to me i fear the luster of this will ware thin after a while and dressing might not be as fun. However this is what i've always wanted the freedom to be dressed all the time right now the weekends are the only time i can wake up a girl and continue to be a girl the rest of the day. The times are rare for me to want to just be a guy. Like right now i've just gotten back from the store and haven't taken the time to go get girled up yet but i'll be a girl before you know it.

Have you ever gotten up and thought I feel like just being a guy today?
Not for a long time.
I'm usually forced to be a guy. It's not my choice. I can't wait to get home and be myself again. I tried the guy thing. Made me miserable and stupid for the most part.
Who knows... maybe one day... from where I am today I doubt it though. Been there, done that, wore the stinky t-shirt. :p

I'm right in the middle some days I love being a guy and some days I love being gurl. Both sides share well so no issues unless I can not fully dress when feeling gurly.

Absolutely! There are days that I just get up and do guy things all day. I have been a guy for 42 years, can't get it out of my blood. I still swill beers after work or on weekends:drink:, watch sports, burp, fart, tell raunchy jokes, and track dirt all over the house after working in the yard all day. I couldn't give up that part of me. But, there are times that I'll still think about being a girl, even while doing guy things.:heehee: I've been able to balance both sides quite well though, and I'm happy where things are. No matter what I'm wearing, I'm still the man of the house, and my wife likes it that way. She knows when she needs her man, he is there.

I dress maybe 3-4 times a week. sometimes only partially, sometimes just a bra, or just nails, i tried being a girl for the whole week end, but ended up switching back about Sunday afternoon. For me dressing for to long i get the want to just be me again, and find too, being me for longer periods of time, when i do dress, it has a more of a WHOOOA effect on me

I'm along the same lines as Susie S. I am a raunchy redneck myself, sometimes with little or no couth. That is me, but when I do get gurled up, Erickka shines. I am happy being a man, but still love women's clothes, etc. I do not obsess with being dressed, but more or less, do it as a form of stress relief.

Yes,
This has happened to me. While I don't dress 24/7 I do have to plan my dressing in advance. Several years ago I went to a tg convention in Atlanta and the first day I got up the desire to dress was totally gone. What a bummer! I had flown half way across the country to dress and then didn't want to. The only male clothes I had were a pair of jeans and one shirt to wear on the plane home. Luckily the next day I was back to normal and enjoyed the rest of the convention.

NO. NO. NO. Absolutely not. Well, I have to admit sometimes I wish I didn't have to go through the whole makeup process every day but the end result is worth the effort.

Occasionally I do, but the desire is waning with time. Maybe once or twice a week I will have rebellious moments of guyness.
