Well today I went out not all dolled up for several reasons, mostly because my fieance who is ok with me dressing wants me to look like a man. So thats my compromise, any way I went out as a man in a skirt. I had on no make up no wig and aside from the skirt and panties I was wearing reguler man clothes. Any way I went to the mall,Wal Mart, K Mart, the super market and the gas station all while wearing a skirt. Of course at first I was very nervous and it took me awhile to get out of the car but, it was all for not the few people who did say any thing I could hear were fairly quiet about it. And there where only 4 or 5 at that. So from my experience no one cares to much what any one else dose so they snicker or laugh or point and say did you see that. Big deal if it makes you happy do it I say.

Cool. I went out as a man in a skirt three times in the last week, including once pretty publically (standing in crowded bus.) Caught a couple of odd looks from people who looked away, but no negative comments. And see my "Happiness being myself" thread for the nice thing that happened tonight.

I'm finding that I'm going out mixed-gender a lot more than I'm fully dressing -- and I'm liking it. I have in the past done the man-in-a-dress bit but only at a distance from people, not going out and interacting with them like I do when I go out in a skirt. So I get completely dressed when I feel like being out in a dress.

I did the same yesterday (Friday).

I was wearing a knee-length denim skirt to the cleaning job I have at a school.

No one mentioned anything. Neither did anyone give strange looks.
