When can you dress?

I like to dress when i can but it is hard to. i like to try on my swimsuits, lingerie, dresses, blouses and feminine jeans and pants late at night when everyone is asleep.

The only article of womens clothes i have the nerve to wear out in public are womens jeans and pants.

I love to try on my dresses late at night but it is sad that i can only wear it secretly.

Used to do the dressing at night when everyone was asleep.... and it worked well till my wife found out.... Now it's business trips, the rare occassion at home, and mornings where I take a half day off, change in a unisex public restroom somewhere and go out enfemme... May go to a local casino soon, enfemme, again.... they will take my money no matter how I'm dressed!!! lol... Sometimes you have to be creative.....

One of the ways that I ended up easing into what be considered more TG than CD (i.e., I wear female clothes in male mode), is that I would put on some femme top at work, put on a jacket or sweater long enough to get out of the building without it being seen, and then would (to the extent weather permitted!) take off the concealing layer, and walk to the bus stop and take the bus home wearing the femme item(s). Off the bus, reconceal, and then a quick duck into the garage to change tops.

Or sometimes it wasn't even a top, just bra and forms. If I was wearing short-sleeves, I'd do the old remove-the-bra-without-undressing trick, and wouldn't even need to stop in the garage.

It is not entirely by chance that most of my outerwear has big pockets :)

Some of the femme things would be more obvious than others. For example, I might have put on a stretch shirt over the bra + forms, and then the bus ride I might deliberately leave my coat undone so there was a chance of someone seeing my "bust".

Dressing this way, a femme top more or less public, or forms while in male mode, became kind of natural for me, and these days more and more often I'll deliberately go out with an unconcealed top or with a "bust" detectable by anyone who actually looks at me, or even in a skirt -- all in "guy mode". For example, today I needed to buy something, so I put on a white blouse (noticably a blouse, traditional pinstripe design), and bra + forms (bra straps detectable, just like for women wearing blouses), and a denim miniskirt, and took the bus a mile or so over to the large grocery store, got something there, and bussed back -- no makeup, no wig, so obviously cross-dressed to anyone who saw me from the front (but probably mistakable for femme from those who saw only my back.)

This dressing progress has been right for me; it isn't right for a number of people. So if you do decide to do something like putting on a blouse for the drive home, watch out that mixed dressing doesn't become too much of a habit, not unless you don't mind being seen as an obvious crossdresser.

Tess that is so cool.I would love to be able to dress in heels and skirt with a top and just go for it.A guy in a dress no more no less.But i'm not ready for that and neither is society yet in a lot of places.Maybe if more cders did it would change how we're loked at.I'm too old i'll leave that for you younger girls

Sence I retired I have been able to dress each morning after the wife leaves for work (like right now). I visit my fav web sites and do my morning exercises until about 9 when I start the days chores (read honey-do-list). Unfortunatly this will end in Oct when wife retires. Sigh

Living on my own, I am happy to be able to dress 24/7, what I do.
Didn't dare to wear a skirt in public yet, which has also something to do with the fact that I don't think my legs are very pleasing. Hence, I probably wouldn't wear a skirt even if I would dare.

I'm living on my own, but I do have a roomate who's away for the summer so I'm taking advantage of dressing up as much as I can before he returns.
In addition to dressing up at home, after work, I have gone out a few times to go shopping or do some errands. Sometimes, I go out in a nice dress, or skirt and top, and sometimes I go out in a pair capris or women's jeans. It depends on what time of day/evening, where I'm planning on going, and what women are wearing so I can blend in.

girlie day is monday, my day off, wife at work and kids at school. also support group meetings one evening a month, fetish gig coming up this weekend. Usually have some female items, shaved legs, varnish, jewellery, bag etc so pretty much dressed all the time (in my head)!

I consider myself fortunate:love:. My wife of 20 years has known about my CD lifestyle for 19 years 362 days. I didn't want to chance loosing her over my femininity so I fessed up early. After all it's difficult to conceal the bra and panties in the laundry.

I have never ventured outside the house or at least not off the back deck. The furthest stretch for me from the perverbial closet was at a camp fire one weekend.

I wouldn't change a thing! Honesty with yourself and you SO is the best policy.

I don't have any strictly men's clothes any more. The closest thing I have are some T-shirts. I usually only women's jeans or slacks when I venture out. I've started wearing some more femme looking T's when I go out though. working up to being out all the time.

I can only dress about twice a week and thats when i get out to do a cleaning job,i put what i want to wear in the boot of the car and hurry to get to the office,when there i change into my clothes put on my makeup and quickly do the cleaning.
After that i have about 1 hr to spare so i walk out to my car put my man clothes in the boot put my handbag on the passenger seat and check my makeup and go for a drive.
I do get out ocasionaly to look at a few car lots or go to the cash point :rolleyes: and it feels good to be out in a skirt and boots for just a little while.:D

I put on something femme pretty much every evening when I get home from work and out of my work clothes unless we are going out somewhere. It is usually just a comfy skirt or dress with a bra plus tights in the Winter. If I'm feeling a little more 'dressy', I'll add forms, lipstick and perhaps some earrings.

On most weekends, if we are just 'hanging around the house', I'm usually in a denim skirt or something similar.

I only go 'all the way' once every few months. I define all the way as full makeup, nails, curling my hair, dress/skirt, breast forms, jewelry, etc. Usually, if I go through this much trouble, it is not just to stay home so I'm on the way out to go shopping or at least driving around.

I dress at home whenever I like but usualy too tired after working all day to go through all the effort for just a couple hours.
Weekends are nice if the weather is bad and I dont feel guilty about neglecting outdoor projects.
Sometimes I will compramise and work outside till after lunch then get cleaned up and spend the rest of the day as Cindy.
Dressing at home realy seemed boaring after I first got out with friends but thats changed over the years and I enjoy my time at home now,,, very relaxing !

as i live in a downstairs flat, i have to crossdress when i know the neighbours are out, even though i have the curtains closed when i do, but like others have posted i mostly CD at night and sleep in my femme clothing

Today I dress when I like but it was not too long ago that I could not. Dressing late at night was not even an option for me but only when everyone was out of the house.

Don't despair for things can get better hon. You can also always make a plan and go to a motel for the afternoon and dress to your hearts content.

I used to do that all the time. It was fun to plan and look forward to.
