Hey all, I'm a 24 year old guy who luves dressing up as a girl. In fact, I had a makeover several months ago and those pictures have gotten quite the buzz from a lot of people (http://www.myspace.com/stilettogirlie), so much that i was actually offered a contract to do an adult website, which i'm considering. But, what would I need to do to have a successful career? I mean, I'm a couple years out of college and I've dealt with bs jobs, how about one where I could model women's fashions or something like that. I would love it, how would I go about pursuing this dream? How good of an income could I make doing these things? I don't want to be a ***** by no means, but if I could do something I love(enjoying my feminity) and get paid, well I'm all for it. Especially since any other job I want, I can't get...

being a model , all be it a tg , is very hard work plus the bull sh*t you encounter you know like your too fat watch your weight etc
if you want it bad enough you will find a way and when you get to dress more as a woman than a guy this could lead to problems later unless your a ts.. but if your just a CD you will miss your male side .. then there the i don't look feminine enough so i will start hormones off the net .. it's like any job after a while it's oh god back to work :heehee:

LOL... That's a good one.... Ohhhh. You weren't kidding!! Well stay away from Victoria Secret's .. I already put in my application and Rita already models for some online lingerie company but I don't think she gets paid...

Anyone willing to get naked could probably get an adult movie deal.. As long as you bring along you pet horse.. And maybe a couple monkeys.. Lol.

Good luck with your carrear.. Tyra Banks is probably trembling in her heels..... Not!!!

Considering that there are a zillion younger GGs looking fo a model career (they start with 14 or 16 and often are out of business again in your age) and only a few of them are getting payed good, I don't see much of a chance.
TG model ? Maybe, but even TG-shops like Transformations have GG models.

But like MJ said, if you want it bad enough you'll may be able to find a way.

Offered contract from an adult webs-site ... hmmmm ?????

Good luck nevertheless

Hope you can make your dream come true. That is what counts

Should she feel insulted if they give the monkey the lead role?

I recommend getting additional information, including a copy of the Adult website contract. You could contact modeling agencies to network and to find out who are the TG specialists. If you can afford it, put together a decent portfolio of photos done by a professional. Contact other extremely attractive TG's wherever you may find them and ask a lot of questions. Every career takes a lot of work, and a dream one for you will probably take more work. It all really depends on your true dressed up looks, as well as semin and un-dresed modes. Good luck.

Well I sure wouldn't be!! Lol. She's just lucky I'm into crossdressing and not crossUNdressing... As many people that have said that they were gaga over my photos I could have been a porn star by now, assuming going gaga were the only criteria!!

Hm. Good luck with that. Personally, any career based on vanity is dubious. I would focus on what's in your mind and find a career you can excel at for decades to come.

On the other hand, if you can get a modeling job that pays well, it is a good deal if upon completion of such work the money is invested in your future. I've heard lots of people do that - modeling money for college or investments, etc.

I don't want to join your site to look at your photos, but I think if you look really good you should give it a try. If you think you can do something, that's the most important thing to get started.

A successful career as a model is HARD work. It may look glamorous from the outside, but modeling means long hours, early rising, late evenings, exhausting sessions, starvation diets, hot lights, demanding photographers, superficial compliments, uncertain income, intense competition, and more. None the less, people do it, and some are very successful.

Talk to an agent if you are serious.

I say check into it. If you can do it and you are comfortable with it then do it. You only live once girl. Just be safe.

I'm looking at your idea and while the concept sounds good, I'm wondering just what you would be modeling and who you would be moleling for. Would you be modeling AS a TG person or attempting to model as a woman? Even the most passable of us may have a problem finding work, other than working for companies who specialize in women's clothing made specifically for men, wigs, breast forms, etc. or adult stuff.
If you would be modeling women's clothing for women and it became generally known you are really a man, just how many women would want to buy something that looks good on a man? Unless you are that good and no one can really tell. It would have to be a very well kept secret I would think and if that were the case there would be no distinctiveness about it.
In any event, as others have said, it is hard work and sometimes a very demanding schedule and not as glamouous as it may sound. Even if I were younger and able to do it, I would think twice because CDing for myself is fun and if I equated it it with work, it might get old pretty fast. I know a female impersonator who had a career performing in Vegas but after 5 or 6 shows a day, doing the same thing day in and day out, it got kind of tedious and she had to retire because she had her fill of it and she actually started resenting it.

Yeah i should be a model as well i could be on all those cool magazines.
You should go for it. Being a girl is real fun at times. I will support you in what you want to do. Bad news for me i don't look like a girl so they will fire me. See ya

Wow! To be paid to be a CD model, hard work notwithstanding. Oh, to be able to turn the clock back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I was in college, one sorority always put me up to compete in both the "Mr. Beautiful Contest" (CDing in evening gown, sports wear, and bathing suits, with the top ten doing some sort of talent), and the "Beutiful Legs Contest." Back then I had legs any GG would have killed for . . .

Oh well, I guess I must realize that I have entered my fifties and don't think anybody would want to see a fifty-something CD model. *sigh*

OMG, as if transgendered people don't have enough body image issues without trying to break into the modeling biz!

alls I'm sayin' is be careful what you wish for.

alls I'm sayin' is be careful what you wish for.I was thinking the same thing. Problem with me is that, even if I could do it, I'm a wild and free spirit and my own person and probably wouldn't last long in a gig like that.:heehee:

I'm confused again, as usual. You said you don't want to be a *****. (since it's 5 letters, I can take an educated guess.) If you go to work for an Adult Website as a TG Model, I think it would be just about impossible not to become a *****, and still do your job. They won't be hiring you to do a remake of "Little Women." Unless they can figure out a way to write a new plot for the movie, involving you with a bunch of guys with prison tattoos, along with various farm animals!

If you want to get out of this gracefully, I would write them back, tell them you "fibbed" about your age just a bit, and you are now ready to begin your career at the age of fourteen. let's see how quickly they drop the offer! Unless of course, you do want to become a *****. Then we will someday see your name in lights.....maybe.

I keep thinking of a line from a Woody Allen Film. Think it was called "Mighty Aphrodite." Anyway, Woody is the father of an adopted child and he wants to track down the birth mother. Turns out she's a Porn Star. Woody turns to The Camera and says: "How do I tell my kid that his mother was the star of a film called The Enchanted P****e." Keep that in mind, you could have that same problem some day!

Peace and Love, Joanie

PS. I think your spoofing us. You can't be that naive!

Several years back I was on some girl's website and she ran a TG modeling agency. Claims to have provided T Girls to some of the bigger names in fashion and cosmetics. Maybe a google search will help.
