Hi,

I'm new in this forum, therefore sorry if I'm asking a question that has been answered before. I just wonder how is the best way to shave my back? I always have problems to reach in the middle of the back, and can not get a good shaving ever. Any suggestions?

thank you,
Susana

Well it looks like you have several solutions. Fiorst, duct tape a wood dowel to your razor. Second, Have a friend shave your back. Or third, stand too close to a fire....BJ

Since I cannot reach it or have no one to do it, I don't. When I decide I'm going to wear a swim suit or an evening gown, I use nair and that takes care of it for awhile. That is what I do anyway.

I guess I'm lucky not to have any hair on my back, but if I did, I'd ask someone to help me or have it done professionally. Most likely, I'd ask a girlfriend.

I don't know how well it works but, you could try the man groomer (http://www.mangroomer.com/). There are also, spray on hair removers which is what I use. Not expensive at all and since it is a spray it's a lot easier to get your back.

I also say,"Get it waxed". There is a little pain (suck it up and don't be a wimp!) but really if you wax about once a month it gets less and less each time. I'm very hairy and also get my chest, arms and underarms waxed. It works very well.

I've used a lot of different things, including the razorba, but I've found this works the best as you can grip it at the right angle to pass all over your back. Next best thing to a waxing.

Plus with the attachments, its great for eyebrows! Costs about £12

O.K. right...no stay with me right...no it's a good idea o.k...........you get one of them dehairators......with the things that like spin round really fast and pulls the hairs out o.k. and you like set it up by wedging it in a drawer or you can use duct tape stuff like gaffer tape in the u.k. to stick it to the wardrobe or something and then rub yourself up against it like Balloo in that film and go "Oh yeeeeaah!"

sort of thing.

Funny girls... Well if you've ever seen my slap shot you'd know why I don't break many sticks... Yeah I shoot like a girl!! Want to make something of it?? Lol.

But the razor on a bamboo back scratcher does work.. I use a female venus razor, taped to the curved part of the scratcher... and just move it back and forth over my back and the hair comes off..

I took Karen's advice, I have a roll of hockey tape and a back scratcher in my bathroom.

I veet my back! Ugggghhhhh!!! I use a kinda trowel thingy on a long handle to spread the Veet where I can't reach.

I keep thinking about laser but its much more fun blowing money on makeup, cloths and wigs!!!

Thank you all for your help. I think I will try the mengrover, as I'm shy to go to get it wax, and I'm still in the closet.

thank you,

god I hope I never grow back hair, I have a hard enough time battling my legs/pits/chest, however I have noticed little tiny patches growing on the back of my shoulders :O still very light and thin at the moment though, lets hope it stays that way

I guess I am blessed having enough Amercian Indian blood that I don't have a lot of body hair. I can go almost a week between shaving my legs, chest, and arms. I can go almost two days without shaving my face.

Even a lot of guys who don't dress get their backs waxed these days. It's a "grooming" issue for them, because they think that the hot chicks don't like back hair. And, we don't! :gorgeous:

Don't be concerned, just go by a salon and do it. If you have anyone to ask, check to see if they can recommend anyone.

I had my back lasered a few years ago, and the hair still comes back a little sparsely, so I wax once/month.
