Help me here girls, I posted a thread on how wonderful it was to get a SPA pedicure and I wasn't leaving without some color on... At first it wasn't all that apparant in doors and at night .Some of you might have seen the photo I posted. Now for some reason I feel like I might as well be wearing a bright red because it is so obvious that my toe nail are polished. It is much more pink now or to me it seems that way. I went to the store today in my home town in flip flops and I felt like everybody was looking at my feet. Don't get me wrong , I love the look but I know a few girls and guys must think I am a sissy. Is it possible for nail lacquer to darked over a couple days. God I don't wanna take it off.. I can't believe my wife hasn't said anything and I know her son saw it in the bright sun light by the pool , he was stareing right at my feet when I got out of the pool. what would you girls do need advise:o

Denise, relax and enjoy. Mine are polished 24/7/365. I'll be on vacation at the beach in a few weeks and I'll probably still have on my 4th of July polish.

Getting a pedicure is easy and no one cares. I go every three weeks and many other men have been there doing the same. Having them paint your nails is another story. I just did it 3 weeks ago and loved it, but was worried when I sat with my feet in the dryer, while other men were getting haircuts. My wife noted the painted nails, but has said nothing negative. I'm due to go back to the salon next week and have not yet decided if I will take the color off and have a new color applied, or not have color. Bottom line-once you go in you will find that it is no big deal. Good luck.:hugs:

Pedicures,.... one of my "pleasures" in life. Been getting one every month for the past two years.
I've never been one for sandals or "flip flops" so I don't have much worry about "others" seeing my toes. Having my own pool takes away any concern in that dept. also. The few places where having to "show my toes" ie, Dr. and my "waxing" salon have no problem with it.
Been having them colored for so long now I just don't care anymore.

Hi,
I don't know if this will help at future times but I use Revlon Sheer Innocence No. 013 on both my finger nails and top nails. I wear it 24/7/395, including when in male mode.
It is very pale pink but subtle.
My wife thinks most people would never notice unless they look hard.
It makes me feel nice and that's what is important.

Relax.......I get a pedicure/toe nail polish/maincure/fill/eyebrow waxed once a month. I wear the toe nail polish until my next visit. My nails are acrylic and extend past my fingures. I have not gotten any negitive comments, in fact the other day we were in Lowes and while checking out the the girl at the regeister looked at my nails and asked if those were my real nails. I said yes and she replyed that I had better looking nails than she did and then asked where I had them done at.

Honey,
My g/f and I go to the spa every 4 weeks, no one even bats an eye at me. I love the spa so much I sometimes go every 2 weeks. My g/f knows that I dress, but wants nothing to do with it. She just calls me her metro sexual, b/f. In male mode I am a very prepy dresser.

Alice,
Why would you want to not have color? What does it mater that othere men were in the salon? Don't let other people control you life. That is the most important lesson that you can learn about being happy in your own skin! It its not anyone's business. Remember when men first started wearing two earrings? Be a pioneer and don't let other people influence your life. I get nothing but positive comments from women on my french pedicures with little while flowers on the big toes. It is so fem, but I love it. After all, women wear everything that a man wears including short hair, baseball caps, and tattos. There is nothing that is off-limits. Why are you worried about toenail polish? I would suggest getting red next time so that everyone can see that you have polished toenails and that you are proud of them. I am very proud of being a sissy.

Phyliss,
You are somewhat missing the point. It doesn't matter if anyone has a problem with it. They are your toes and you can do as you want with them. It is not anyone's business. I would suggest wearing sandals whenever you are not at work so that everyone can see you pretty toes. Whenever I get a pedicure, I want to show it off to everyone. Otherwise, what is the purpose of getting a pedicure and having pretty toes?

Susanjane,
Why not wear polish on your toenails that is more noticable? I can't understand why get a pedicure if you don't get polish that everyone can see?
