View Full Version : Suspicious

I think a friend of mine might know about me. He knows a couple people who do know, so it wouldn't be entirely out of the realm of possibility for him to have found out. Anyway, I'm really only suspicious because of one comment...we were talking (on msn) last week, and he said to me, "anyway, I gotta go, I need my beauty sleep, lol jk." Now...I know it may seem like I'm being overly suspicious, I just want to know if anyone else takes that as a sign that he might know. I don't think he does, and I don't really care if he finds out...I'm more just curious about this than anything. It's not so much is remark about beauty sleep, but the fact that he added the "jk" (just kidding, for those who don't know, lol)...like he knew I might somehow make an association or something.

Or maybe I'm just a little tired and reading waaaay to deeply into things.

I think it's the second. It doesn't seem like it means anything, it's just a joke.

And if he does know, and he hasn't brought it up, it means he probably doesn't care. In which case, hang on to him as a friend.

I wouldn' read into it so much. I think you're just being paranoid.

Don't know about the tired bit, but almost certainly you're reading way to deeply. "Getting your beauty sleep" is a phrase very commonly thrown around by all kinds of people.

I don't think I would worry about it. It seems that the friendship is fine and if you think he knows you might just as well tell him. I doubt that it would hurt the friendship and it may even strengthen it.:hugs:

I think he was making a joke, by poking fun at himself. It's implied that "beauty sleep," isn't going to do much good.

Comedians understand the concept very well. You can get away with just about anything, if you make fun of yourself. Jack Benny worked The "Stingy, Vain," routine for his whole career.

This one, I wouldn't worry about.

sounds like an innocent turn of phrase if you ask me.

But, if he knows people who know, then there is that distinct possibility that he does know. Maybe that's not a bad thing. I would just play it cautiously and see if another phrase comes up. Then you will know more.

I get those kind of comments all the time, simple joking around, but is it really????

The way i see it...

We spend a lot of time in femme right? All that time we are dressed, we are feeling femme, acting femme, moving femme, basically we are femme, we fill our aura with female energy, then we go in drab out in the public, but our aura is still all femme up, well, people do not see it, but they get intuition, from it, in other words, they see it, but dont see it, the same way one always seems to say the one thing that sets another off, when peoples auras are in close proximity of each others, especially when you share a mutual respect, they intuitively pick up on it, but pass it off as a joke, he doesnt know, but the jokes are intuitions from being around you. I see lil hints like this all the time.

You have a point Chantelle and most of the time this is the case whether people realize it or not. I know only so well how energies can influence people one way or the other and it's a gift to say the least. On the other hand, comments like that is somewhat innocuous and most people use them all the time without thinking about them. The sad part is that men can indeed be beautiful, they just hesitate to admit it.

but if he knows people who know and already knows from what the people he knows who know have said, and then made this knowing comment that in no way seems hostile, then him knowing appears to be no problem, you know? or no?

...brain...explosion...

I think you're saying the same thing I was - if he knows, it's clearly no big deal to him.

If he does know it seems he's ok with it. That was a pretty light hearted comment.

Yes you are being paranoid. You had better review your life either continue to dress and be prepared to be found out. So what? Your real friends will not understand it but as long as it does not involve them they will contiue to treat you the same.
However in this case he does not know or he wuld not have used the phrase for fear of causing offence.
