View Full Version : I am too selfish about my crossdressing....

Karren H

Not as bad as I used to be and not always but from time to time... Thinking about me and stuff I want to buy or I want to wear.... To the detriment of others..

After all I am a man....... Red Green's man prayer

"I'm a man... But I can change.. If I have to.. I guess". Hehehe

I had planned to go out enfemme tommorow... Probably to a local slots casino.. And maybe drop $100. And then some shopping.... And I haven't been out enfemme in almost a month.... Business trips have dried up....

But today I received an email from a good friend who is having financial dificulty... A lot of that going around lately... And her financial problems are spilling into family problems.. And she crossdresses...

So I thought to myself.. I really don't need to go out tommorow. And really don't need to shop... So as of today I'm curtailing my fem adventures for a while, taking the money I might have lost... And the money I have allocated to buy fem things...going over to the post office after work and buying a money order and sending it to her...

How noble of me?? Not really...... Now crossdressing makes me feel wonderful but the feeling of doing this just beats the snot out of anything in second place.....

Random Acts of Kindness... It will make you feel fantastic...

Love Karren

Am a firm believer in what goes 'round comes 'round - or you get what you give. Your friend is very lucky & I am sure will be touched to tears by your gesture.

And it'll make that next adventure just that much more special. Who knows, you may win at the slots!

Nicely done.

You have such a wonderful outlook/personality/ .....(list could take pages)
I have only been reading and enjoying this forum regularly for about a week now. I must say that I am EXTEMELY impressed with the whole lot of you girls (GG's Too). But you, Karren are my new Idol. Could/Would you send me your mold? I want to be just like you when I grow up!! ( I'm 57 now so you may have to overnight it)

Hi Karen.....I feel that many of us live through your adventures. You seem to like trying different things. I was wondering if you tried a happy hour anywhere that ladies drink free?
You might use that for a reason to dress up. You have such a care free attitude, I'm sure you will make your friend feel better.

Keep us smiling

Karren, yours was an immensely considerate helping hand to a friend when she needed it. Generosity is its own reward. You've made me proud, and brightened my day. Thank you.
P.S. And a Possum Lodge devotee as well? Keep your stick on the ice!

Karren -- You're a really fine sister! I know you didn't do it to get all these accolades, but I am proud to know you.
On the lighter side, what are men suppose to change into? I always think about that when I hear the Possum Lodge oath.

Karren's post got me to remember that I did something similar last fall. I had planned to go shopping for Jodi. The evening before the shopping day, I noted in the paper that a long time buddy and his family lost their house in a fire.

I gave up the shopping trip and sent them a check with what would have been spent on Jodi.

I also got the same good feeling.

Karen,
Thats an awsome jesture! It shows you have a good heart !

I have that selfish feeling sometimes when I buy things for Cindy and the realise I should have/could have picked up something for my wife. She has surprised me several times with girly items and I feel like a cad sometimes when I think about it.

On the other hand, I rarley buy guy clothing, I know some "normal" guys can spend more than a typical GG on their stuff.

Im sorry to drift from your topic,, what your doing shows that you have your prioraties in line,, friends in need before something for yourself,, even tho it sounds like you deserve whatever you like anyway.

Thanks for sharing !
Cindy

Well said K! Say, I am in a lot of debt, with very little income, this year. Could you maybe spare a little? NOT REALLY! I am having a rough time, financially, for several years, in lots of credit card debt, one day at a time, getting by. I try to help fellow man, and animals, when i can. Great post!! You are right! The good Book, says, "it is more blessed (happy), to give, than to take."

Karren, you are definitely a one-of-a-kind gal. That outta bring you some good Karma in the future.

And who said it has to stop you from going out en femme? You could still go somewhere or do something besides gamble & shop.

nice to know there are kindly people doing simple but thoughtful things, I do hope it will help more people in the long run.. and others may pass it on too.

Wonderful Karren and, for me a freaky coincidence.
A local radio station here has declared today as "Random acts of kindness" day and is encouraging people to bring in cans of food and other dry produce for those of us less fortunate. The response has been wonderful. Check out www.kfm.co.za they are live streaming.
But I have to say that in general, the people of Cape Town are very generous.
Must go now to get my small donation.

Big heated Karren. :hugs:

I had a friend who had a disaster, who I heard about upon my coming home after a day of over time on the job. I sent her a like amount in a check.

We Americans give more than any nation. I think we here are proof of that.

RAOK.... Is a neat thing... I started a few years ago when someone did something nice for my wife and gave her a card that read "Randon Acts of Kindness..... Pass it on"... And I've helped out more than a couple crossdressing friends in need...

But I really enjoy .... This.....

I pulled into a Wendy's parking lot to get in line for the drive through and it was packed... But this woman with a couple kids waved me in front of her.. So when I got to the window to pay I heard her ordering and told the clerk I wanted to pay for her order too.. So as I pulled away I could see her trying to give the money to the clerk and he was trying to explain that I had already paid.... Sooo every so often when I get in line and someone pulls up behind me and looks like they are having a bad day (moms with screaming kids.... Lol). They get a free lunch.... And I've done it enfemme twice.... :D

You are a one in a million Karen, pay it forward is how I live my life as of about the last 9 years since I started my company. I have given to many and it never gets old. I do like the one about paying for the McDonalds for the woman with the screaming kids. Money is a nice thing to have but it's not the be all and end all to everything so we should all give a little more than we have in the past, it really does come back in good karma

Seriously don't see how you can consider yourself selfish... Missing your experience going out for the month is one thing, but rising above that to do the thing that most people wouldn't (I'd like to think I would, but reality is probably not)... hardly selfish. The idealist in me wonders of the world in which everyone did this once in a while, while the realist realizes it wont ever happen. Still, in this as in many others, you are an example for us all. :)

Just stop doing the acts of kindness on the roadway. I see, four cars all waiting at different stop signs on a 4 way stop all waving each other on and on and on and on... until someone just looses it :-)

No doubt he world would be a better place if we all could have a positive attitude like yours. Hats off to you!
