With my wife working third shift three nights a week I get to be Elsie. So last night I fell a sleep with my sports bra on. I went to take it off for my morning shower and thru out my back. Bad enough that i had to cancel a weekend ATV trip that was planned. Thank god for laptop computers as I can still get something done while flat on my back

Well, I'm lucky enough to have never thrown out my back, but I have fallen asleep in women's clothes.

...

A couple of times they weren't mine.

Backs good, but I did miss some eyeliner once and went to the office. See my thread.

Hope your back gets better.

Hugs.

I've thrown out my back. When I was 17 I was working in printing, adn had to lift a very heavy box over my head without any help, to stack on a skid.

It didn't end well, and my back hasn't been the same since. I've popped my right shoulder out of place a few times too, so I know what you're going through.

Never done it while dressed mind you.

I know what you mean... I have a bad disk that slips out of place every once in a while. It's really painful to move at all when it does. I'll go through some ibuprofen then for sure. Luckily I can get them anytime I need to. Just call the doc and he faxes a script for 20-30 800mg (horse sized) pills to the pharmacist.
:hugs:
It usually takes me 4-7 days to get through it, and I mean bed rest for most of it.

I have a bad disk as well, last one befor the hip joint! Cant even do labour work anymore, use to bowl, cant do that, golf, cant do that, cant run, or jump at all, doc says i have to keep my Wt. down, best thing i can do. When it goes out, i cant hold my own weight up at all and end up unable to move on the floor, only thing that gets me moveing is morphine pills :/

Broke my back & neck over 20 years ago. Now have 7 fussed verts and constant back pain. Have learned to live with it, but sometimes it gets bad. I know how you feel and back pain is no fun when it shuts you down from doing what you like. Get well soon.

The "Dreaded Bra Back" I guess the surgeon general will have to add a warning to Bra tags now, saying "Caution, the wearing of Bras could be hazardous to your back".

Now to get serious, sorry about your injury, been there done that (not the bra part). Back injuries are about the most debilitating pain you can have. I hope it gets better soon.

I've never had any CD related injuries, although I occassionally get a charlie horse from too much dancing. About 15 years ago I knocked my back and hip out by, of all things, picking up the dog's food bowl. I was laid up for a good three weeks just for turning wrong.

I tore a muscle in my back, trying to move an ancient Crosley chest freezer by my self, stairs broke and I went a** over teakettle and was pinned to the ground with this thing on my chest for about a half hour before I could get it off of me. I fell your pain, I feel it every day.

Doubt seriously that it was the bras fault... More likely you got out of bed wrong or pulled a muscle when you went to take it off.. The couple times I did that it was making a slight movement when my muscles were cold..

Like any other sport you need to stretch!! I do before every hockey game.. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to walk after the game.. Well unless I get cross-checked.. Then stretching doesn't help... But those retalitory punches to an oponenets head make me feel better but I almost alway end up in the penalty box... Lol

Wait a minute!! We had a female player last season and we wear the same equipment (wishful thinking on another level....). Hockey equipment that is and the way I figure it though I have no verification of this, that I typically wore prettier lingerie that she did... Plus what other sport allows you to wear stockings, a garter belt and a girdle??? Hmmmm?

Do I get a penelty shot for an incorrect penalty call??

:tongueout

Can't say as a bra ever hurt my back (underwires digging into chest is another story), but don't ever try moving a car engine without a hoist. OUCH
