Nope, and never will.

I do the Yoga.
That's healthy, relaxing, and makes a better posture.

I get makeovers done professionally a couple of times a year. I always watch them do the make-up and have them walk me through the steps. I love learning new things.

At one place, once I am dressed we actually spend about an hour just being girls.....chatting, sitting proper, walking the walk, fun stuff. I suppose it's part of a charm school mentaility, but I love going and getting the attention.

Guess it's like skiing. I am an expert skier and always take lessons at least once a year to work on technique.

I see no reason to really. I do it for myself mostly, not to impress anyone.

Makeovers three times. Two of them were lesson-like. When I bought make-up from one store, it usually included a lesson, too. As far as the others, I haven't and I don't believe I will. However, I did find an old high school text book for young ladies that included a lot of neat stuff (some of it outdated) like make-up, fashion, some deportment, etc.

These things can be, out of necessity, pretty expensive. If you have the disposable income, try one out and see if it helps. I was never able to afford anything like this.

Your own observation plus a lot of practice should stand you in good stead.

I just did a make-up lesson the artist did my left and I did my right side. It took 2 hours but it flew by. I learned a lot but it was also nice to just spend time being pampered by a gg, and being treated like a women client.

I want to start voice training so when I do go out, I can fully pass. Im getting the walk nailed down, working on sitting, getting up, stuff like that. To me, if you are gonna dress as a woman, go all out and "be" the woman. Just my opinion

Everything I have done has been by "TRIAL AND ERROR" and asking a lot of questions on this site and other girls I have met. Yes you can pay $$$ for advice, but why.

Early on, a lot of what I did was the same -- good old "trial and error" -- many times with a copy of Cosmo in hand to go by. Recently, two things have changed my mind a bit. The guy that did my make-up and hair for our Vegas wedding where I was the bride, had incredible skill and knowledge!!! I tried to take in all he did, but if I was to use him again, it would well be the price.

Well, that explains it!!!

(I) just haven't heard of a finishing school for CDs but I bet it would be full.

There is one in NYC -- or so I've heard. If memory serves me correctly, it is "Miss Veras" and she has written two books on the subjcet that I am aware of.

Couldn't agree more!!! I have had sitting properly down for quite q long time. I learned to "walk" in college -- a bunch of sorority girls taght me prior to a "Mr. Beautiful Contest" in which I was representing them.

VOICE TRAINING is an entirely different subject. I need it badly, but don't know where to go or how to start!!!!!!!

Maybe there are no finishing schools on the west coast, but there are three on the East coast such as Miss Vera's School For Boys that Want to Be Girls. Try www.missvera.com (I think) and www.lefemmefinishingschool.com

same here - one makeover - she did one side and I did the other - in the open in a bust department store - lot of fun and I learnt loads - my makeup has been a whole lot better. Would like to do voice and deportment!

I have a TS friend named Jennifer Harvey who not only is a trained cosmotologist but is knowledgible about the special beauty needs of T-Girls (and not to mention she is absolutly stunning herself) She gave me a makeover with a makeup lesson once a couple of years ago and still does my hair occasionally.

The mention of hypnotherapy is an interesting one. Anyone got any information?

Voice training is clearly a difficult thing for a lot of us and I must say it'd be really nice to have a self-hypnosis cd that would get the unconcious to do the work to give me a female voice when dressed.

It'd want a good trigger though.. being completely dressed or such.. if it was just feeling feminine, wearing panties (or in my case lipstick as being a goth I have on the odd occassion worn black lipstick in guy mode) then it could lead to embarassing slips into girl voice in guy mode.

If your girl voice is natural, then it can pass as either girl or guy voice. It's an unnatural girl voice that people would raise eyebrows at.
