CD resource for Orange County, CA.

Not really meant as advertisement but I found store(Only one in Southern California as far as I know), within a few miles of my home that caters to CD's and TV. If your like me...very closet and nobody(in person), you can really talk to or ask advice from, then this place maybe be very helpful to you. I was very reluctant to ask the counter person any questions but got the nerve asked about breast forms they advertised. The next thing I new she was helping pick out a bra...you can try them on in the store...she brought me a few to try on. We talked about types of dresses I like, skirt, panties, teddies...which I got one of...and just everything CD. Note, its pricy I think because its a specialty store but still, its a great place to just look around and not feel uncomfortable like you might at say, Target, checking out a new bra. Just wanted to mention it to those that might be looking for a place in my area. BTW...its in a new shopping center and is very clean.

Its called Brittany's Exotic Boutique and is located at Santa Ana, CA.

Dear WanaBeGirl,

I have been to Brittanys many times and it is a great place, but pricey as you said. A while back I asked the proprietor to help me with choosing make-up and she went to a place around the corner and picked out a complete seto fmake-up that fit my face. Her daughter also does transformations in the back room. There is another place for CDs on Harbor called Naughtys and Nighties (Address: 16112 Harbor Blvd Fountain Valley, CA 92708). It is much bigger and has toys, magazines, and more kinky stuff, but Brittanys can't be beat for the personal service you received.

By the way, the other day I went into the nails salon right next to Brittanys and got a manicure and pedicure with my toenails painted red. I got a few questions, but in general just relaxed and enjoyed without any embarrassment or gawking looks.

Not many other CD friendly resources in OC though.

The reason I like it so much is that she made it so easy to talk to her and she gave some great suggestions. I'm not as advanced...so to speek... as many here are, but still she worked within my boundries.

If you live in Orange County and don't mind driving a little, try Lydia's TV Fashions in Sherman Oaks (they have a website). There also used to be a store in Fountain Valley called Fantasy Lingere (I think on Harbor Blvd.) I don't know if it's still there.

fantasy changed names and owners it's nighty's and naughty not the same as it was no personal service and the other britteny's looks more like for the exotic dancer type. lydia's not bad first timers be aware owner is a ts/cd not sure which and is a big girl but friendly if you go dress drab for the first time now one classy place i have been is Contessa's Closet very friendly and helpful close to lydia's there is another palce that just opened up in the same area as lydia's and Contessa's and it's called glamour boutique they have a website and have 3 stores the other two are in boston and the other is in vegas on sahara road just past the strip on the left in a office building just off the main street see website for directions they will make you up and take your photos. for like 75.00 dollars price not bad for vegas.
