So, how funny is this.
It is just before 11:00, and I get home, and remember I have to take the garbage out. Well, what better time to walk 50ft in a skirt. Hmmm, not many lights on out back, so it is pretty dark ( I have a 3' fence, which doesn't block the neighbours view, and three of them face my yard, plus it is viewable from both sides). I wanted to shave my legs tonight anyway, so why not shower, shave, take the garbage out, then go to bed.
Well, about 1/2 hour later, get somewhat dressed, black flat, MJ's, black knee length skirt, bra w/inserts, with a tight v-neck tee. Nothing too extravagant, fairly casual. But before I head out the door, have to peek out the windows, and make sure everyone is in bed. The light from my one neighbours back yard shines across my yard, it was my only obstacle, it lights about 20' of my 50' dash to the garbage bin. Slowly, I step out to the back step, and listen... is there any voices, sitting up late chatting in the dark... sounds pretty quiet. Wait a minute anyway, then what the heck.
Off the step, across the light, glancing over, nobody sitting outside, sure feels nice, the breeze on the legs, skirt flowing across the freshly shaved skin, just starting to enjoy my little walk.... BOOM!!!! I see the neighbour across the way walk across his kitchen. FLASH!!!! The outside light comes on. What the heck, is he running 2 million candlewatt flood lights outside, or what? The garbage is down, and I start walking back, trying to be casual, hoping to pull my skirt up a bit, maybe into shorts length from a distance and bee-line back to the house.
Argh!
I have known him for a few years, but not really friends. But he does have some of the same friends I know.
So much for the little walk in the park.

Oh well, not much I can do now, except go to bed. At least the first 45' were nice.

I would'nt loose any sleep over it. Most likely he did'nt notice it. Most people have selective sight as well as hearing so he seen it was you and porbably went on with his buisness. If he did see ya big deal..Patricia..

I'm going to go with the "don't loose sleep over it" too. Not to say don't enjoy the potential rush of it all, etc... or diminish the experience but, nothing to really fret over until there's something to fret over. I live in a 19 unit condo complex and have taken out the trash at 1am en-femme more times than I can count. Likelihood of not being seen at least once is probably nil, but nobody has ever said anything. =) As I'm the board of directors president at the moment, its not like I don't know any of them either... *shrug* Just dream of the 45' feet I guess, and live for those little moments.

Timberly, not to worry. You were probably more startled than anyone who might have caught a glance of a feminine image in the dark in your yard. Don't let this subdue your desire to venture out. Press on with your journey.

So the garbage laid on the walk all night? The racoons would have a field day by my house so I would have continued on to journeys end. I go out most nights now in the summer and swim in my pool in my one piece suit and allthough it is pretty dark out if someone wanted to see they could probably get a fair look and would know it was me in a one piece womans suit, oh how to explain that!!!

Sounds like a familar story to many of us. The peak out the blinds, opening the door and with timid steps going outside, fear in every step, seeing a neighbor or someone else and the dash back nito the house. All a part of the learning and confidence process. Just adds another element of excitement. Don' worry or fret over it. The odds are 99% that you were not really seen and that if you were nothing was thought about it. You could also get a BB gun and shoot out his light.:p

I like the becoming really popular with the neighbors (esppecially the guys).
Let them look, the worst that could happen is your neighbors get something very nice to look at.:heehee:
