Well while the T-blockers were wearing off I sorta went back into guy mode...it happens..
Anyway got back from Holiday and could not STAND it any longer, into the bath and shaved the legs - and it's 85 outside - feels WONDERFUL.
I just had to say that :D
Shaved the pitts too al though they rarely grow past 1/4" anymore anyway.
So now it's shorts weather and I wore shorts all over town today - noticed SEVERAL other guys wearing shaved legs - clearly.....
And I just don't care, nobody even looks twice except this one girl but she smiled when she did look at my legs...
Shave em if ya got em! :D

I agree Scottie! I've been shaving my legs regularly sense early 2006. Last year I was intimidated about going out in shorts but not this year! My neighbors have had a real eyeful of my shaved legs and my girl shorts this summer. The shorts are just basic denim but they have a definite hip flare to them. I'm gonna enjoy this summer and I don't care who's watching. Shorts, tank top, shaved legs, shaved pits, longer hair, nice earrings, mini boobs, yep, I'm ready to go this summer!
Did I mention that I love summer?

This is one that I did for so long that I simply forgot what it looks like to have hairy legs. I wear shorts in public now too and while I am super self conscious, my smooth legs are not on my mind. Now, that said, being at the cold central CA coast, I only wear shorts a few days a year. Today, while it is over 100 just 10 miles away, I have a sweater on and it is in the low 60's. California is so odd this way.

Oh, yes, hairly legs... gasp!!!!
I can't stand it when my leg hairs grow longer than an eigth of an inch! And though I use a razor to keep super smooth, I prefer to use my epilator (the Braun Silk Epil X'elle works great IMHO), and I stay mostly hair free for at least a couple of weeks. Yes, it will hurt like torture the first time you do it, but the next few times will be less and less painful. Also, I love the feeling of no stubble by the end of the day, and I also love the missing "black dots" all over from the hair showing just below the surface.
Bare those legs, girls! I see men all over shaving, and I notice that women are finding men to keep themselves trimmed much more appealing.

I hate hairy legs and shave them when I can. I put E45 cream into them to help the skin afterwards.
If I wore shorts which I don't as I have issues with my legs then I wouldn't be ashamed of showing my shaven legs.

Hi, I am noticing less leg hair since I have been on anti androgens and now estrogen. I debate taking off all the hair, but have a bit of self consciousness still about what others might think! I wear ladies shorts that have only one pocket--I felt quite brazen wearing a wonderful pair of Lizsport blend ones that have no rear pockets-shows off my fanny better, as if anyone cares. I have wondered about the hair removal devices-I thought that the epilady and other electric units would tend to coarsen or thicken hair upon regrowth. I would like to know if this is a real concern, etc. thanks, Helen.
Hi
like Lori I also use the "'Braun Silk Epil X'elle "" I have the 5580 model I find you can use it on your legs and body except face. and the more you use it the finer the hair gets, yes it does hurt the first few times, and no stubble.
Shaving tends to make the hairs more coarser.

Sorry, Rata, but shaving has never been shown to make hair more coarse. Fact of the matter is that it feels thicker because of the way the blade cuts the hair. The hair is lopped off at the top and this gives the impression that is feels thicker.
The only thing about plucking that I've heard is that you have to be careful not to tug on the hair. My electrologist told me never to tug at the hair because doing so causes more blood to rush to the base of the follicle and can stimulate hair growth. It's my understanding that the only area that will inevitably grow thinner is the eyebrows when you constantly tweeze. Just ask any of my older aunts... they have to pencil in pretend eyebrows because of the lifetime of plucking!
