did it belong to someone else?

In my case yes.....Mother.

Since my mom didn't wear any, my first experience with make-up was my own. I went out and bought some mascara. What a time it was to come up with enough nerve to go into a store and to buy make-up, of all things. Today I go into a Lane Bryant and ask if I could try something on ... while in drab.

Either I have changed or the world of retail has.

my former 'mistress' introduced me to makeup. Up to then I was an undie kind of a girl! She helped me put it on and gave me quite a lot of her old stuff to practice with. What a diamond!

My Mom's lipstick and face powder. She was never into eye makeup, so I never used shadow, liner or mascara until I got my own.

Well, I don't wear makeup now, but my mom dresses me up as a girl for Halloween and that included lipstick. Of course, I did dress some when I was 12 or 13, and I tried lipstick then too. After that age, I put on too much mass to be able to wear my mom's or cousin's things.

Mom's lipstick, probably 3 or 4 years old, that's the earliest makeup I can remember.

Yes, I started with my mother's makeup-lipstick, powder, eye liner. the first thing I bought was liquid foundation, either maybeline or revlon.

Stuff from my mom's makeup case. I bet those first times resembled something out of a horror movie than that of a starlet. :D

Mom's Lipstick!!

Me too!

Mom also had these eyelash pinchers that were suppose to make your eyelashes curl up pretty.

The first makeup I wore I bought myself, as neither my mother or wife wear makeup. I actually wound up giving my wife one of my lipsticks because she liked how it looked on me.

Back in my guy days a date had left some lipstick and gloss in my bathroom. The next day put it on and got so excited and turned on. LOL I do remember the gloss seemed kinda slippery. I lit a cig and smoked like a chick...yeap weird but hey true. :tongueout:devil:

Very first was my cousin's (or her mother's, not sure) that she applied when we were little. We dressed up in things from their clothes room, my first cross dressing experince :) Next, much later, was face paint and aunt's castoff makeup, before buying my own.

I remember being home 'sick' from school and that meant I was all alone in the house. That also meant that "mom" and sisters rooms were fair game. I got all dressed up in moms room then hit the sisters room for the make-up. Everything from foundation to mascara. Almost got caught because I couldn't figure out how to get it all off. LOL

Mom's lipstick and powder for me. I also remember a colored nail of two. A long long time ago.

Yes, I was 16. It was eyeshadow and mascara and it belonged to my girlfriend.

Mom and sister...I like sister's best. It was "in style" at the time too. I still cannot do it right, but practice...

Mine was my mothers lipstick, mascara and eyeshadow..I can clearly remember that I was panicked while trying to clean mascara and hide it's curling effect..

I didn't wear make up until I decided to dress fully. Then I bought my own. Then I liked to try different brands, colours etc. Now I have way too much and certainly much more tha my wife.

Like most others, my Mom's lipstick. I remember sneaking it into my room one Sunday when my parents were out in the yard. I put it on and then pressed my lips up to a magazine. The print it left was wonderful. I had that magazine stashed away in my room for many years after that. I loved the taste and I still do not like lipsticks that don't have any taste to them.

Probably 4 or 5 years old. Me and my girl playmate were up in her mothers room investigating who knows what. I remember leaving with my lips tucked in as I was wearing red lipstick.

It's a shame I knew embarrassment at such a young age. ):

I tried to do makeup a couple of times over the years when breaking into my cousin's clothing stash while nobody was around. I started to make a mess and I stopped. I went out and bought powder, masquara, lipstick and stuff like that a couple of times when I was about 19 or 20 but I didn't know from beans about how to apply it! A GG freind would make me up once in awhile when nobody was around but I never bothered with asking her how I could apply the makeup. It was my fault. I just never asked. That was when I was abut 20 years old. When I was a little older, like 27-28,another GG freind showed me all the steps for basic makeup and what to buy and what to use.

Funny, I used my mothers make up eye shadow, lipstick and eyeliner and then smoked a cigarette like a girl. It was very sensual.

Yep, mom's lipstick. I can only imagine what she thought when she opened it the next time to find it dulled down unlike the way she left it.... :heehee:

It was Mom's lipstick, at around 7 or 8. Those little sampals from Avon. Frist time with full makeup was Mom's too in high school to join the jock club (LOL), had to dress like a girl for a day of school.
