My wife gave me an ankle bracelet and I like it, but would it be correct to wear it while dressed as my male self? What do you other girls think

Thank you

Y Knot. They go great with toe rings and sandals.

My question is, Why? Do you want to wear it because you want to wear it, or do you want to attract unwanted attention and then deal with that? In either case, some folks will judge you. If you don't care, then go for it. If you're in the closet, so to speak, why risk it?

Why not wear it all the time. Why do ankle bracelets have to be fem.

No I don't think it would be appropriate to wear in male mode. It would definately make people wonder. My :2c: anyway. CG GG

If it feels good... do it!

I don't wear one all the time, and I haven't in male mode, but if you want to, why not?

I've seen other guys, usually at a pool or at the beach, that wear one.
I see nothing wrong with is, but that's me.

I've got quite a few of them, so maybe I'll start wearing them more often.

Thanks for reminding me of some of the jewelry that I've neglected lately.

Wear it. If anyone asks about it tell them your wife bought it for you and that you enjoy it.

I've worn one in male mode for years. Not 24/7/365 -- usually during the spring and summer, especially at the beach or while boating. Never has been a big deal -- and I have notice a lot of young GM's (late teen and through their 20's) wear them, too.

Yes, almost all the time in boy mode with shorts and sandals. Does not seem to attract any unusual attention other than an occasional glance and smile from the checkout girls at the supermarket; they notice everything and I appreciate it! On both guys and girls I think they are so sexy.

Why not, if you feel comfy wearing it then go ahead

I stopped wearing mine all of the time when it broke. That reminds me I need to fix it. I do like to wear it.

In drab mode, yes wear it.

You can validate a rigid male stereotype, or you can change it. I am one for change myself.

I have several and wear them 24/7. Male mode and never had any comments.

I never tried outside. But like to try. What do you think if I wear in both my ancles and go outside?

Go ahead, I sometimes wear one on each ankle. What ever floats your boat.

I can't say what's correct for you...for me, tho, I wear mine all the time during the warmer months. Have not had any comments made or been aware of any reactions.

I wear a toe ring, and no one has said a word. It just depends on who your friends are, and if they would make a big deal about it, or not. I have a reputation for being a bit off-beat, anyway... (No!! Who'da' thunk it!?) :heehee:

I've not been without a braclet for over a year now! I wear it as my personal attachment to my fem side, let others think what they want.

It is up to you and how you feel about it. The sexiest piece of jewelry I own is my ankle bracelet.

I wear open toe sandals daily in male mode with my ankle braclet, toe rings, and professionally pedicured red toenails. It is a great look. :2c:

As long as it's not one of those "house arrest" ankle bracelets, I don't think anyone will care. :heehee:

Thats good! :tongueout

Personally I go all or nothing. When a guy I try to be very masculine, when I flip over to enfemme I gotta have everything going on from makeup, wig to da cloths....not to mention walking like a girl and doing the fem mannerisms. Realize some are different...but thats just me.

Why not. In todays world no one cares. I like the idea so much I'm going to look for one myself tomorrow. Ant suggestions as to where to look?:hugs:

Wear it in any mode, as you see fit. Jewelry is steadily becoming less and less gender biased as time goes by. When I was young, the only acceptable piece of jewelry for men was a wristwatch. We've pushed the limits quite a bit since then. Remember how earrings were once verboten for guys, then one in the left ear was OK? Now, both ears pierced is not uncommon. Well, that means to me we can have sets to match any mode we want to express.

I have a choker length necklace of black pearls that I wear 24/7. It goes very nicely with my LBD as well as with my machine shop coveralls. To me, it symbolizes my femininity, but other people can infer whatever they want, I don't care, and no one comments on it anyway. I like to think I'm pushing the envelope, but if I'm not, que sera sera.

I agree Jewellry these days is very meterosexual. I regularly wear women's brcelets and necklaces in male mode. My wife even buys them for me. The only comments have been complimentary.:drink: Back to the Angel:drink:

It would draw attention to your shaved legs, then out of the 2 (ankle bracelet and shaved legs), almost any mainstream person would find one of them to be too feminine for a guy.

That is too bad if mainstream people find them "too feminine" for a guy! I wear whatever I want in guy mode. When women stop wearing pants, neckties, baseball caps, men's shoes, and just about all other male fashion items, then folks can cry foul. Until then, too bad! It is not my problem. I will be me and if folks don't like the way that I dress then they don't have to associate with me.

Jamie :-)

If I so desired to wear it, then damn the torpedos and full steam ahead...I could see no reason not to if you wear socks while in man mode...It wasn't to many years ago we old 60 & 70s era hippies wore a leather braclet on the wrist and ankle...funny how thing come around...

So if you like it go for it...

I originally posted no, but I thought you were talking something extremely femme looking. I guess either way, if you're comfortable with it, it really doesn't matter. I do see a lot of anklets on men these days. Most are leather or very masculine, heavier type silver anklets. I guess the final decision really depends on wether or not you are ultimatily comfortable with it. If you are, then I say just go with it! :hugs: CG GG

I wore ankle braclets all the time when I was in college. Hell, a few years back when it was "in" I painted my nails too. But that was then....lol.

I loved having my nails painted. Felt so sexy.
