I'm on the road this week, and I've carved out two whole days for girl stuff. To keep my girlish figure, I always jog several miles first thing in the morning, and it's always a bummer to have to change back into guy stuff for that...anyhoo, today I went to a mall near my hotel to buy some black pearls to go with a new dress, and on a whim I went to Payless and saw a pair of ladies running shoes on sale in my size - so I got 'em along with a cute pair of socklets, then it was off to Sears where I scored a jogging bra, cotton panties and little running shorts, all on sale! My final stop was to a discount store for a $3 tee shirt, I figure the whole outfit cost under $30 dollars, and I can't wait for tomorrow morning! I tried everything on to make sure it all fits, here's how it looks:

Gotta run, I just have time to change into that dress for the manager's reception downstairs....I love this!

Thanks girls! I changed into my dress, and had a glass of wine watching the All Star Game with some guys....it's fun putting on a pretty dress, pearls and stockings, what a difference!

Sweet Freedom it was, Roberta! Although my hair was a ratty old wig pulled back in a ponytail under a ball cap (my next acquisition: a girly cap) and my el cheapo running shoes pinched my toes at first, once I got used to them I just ran and ran....it felt so wonderful!
