Hi everyone happy Friday :D...I'm in a really good mood today cause #1, I played hookey from work and #2, I was able to dress up twice today !!! I even put on some make up, although not very well...still learning, I just can't quite figure out the eyes, I 'm ok with lip stick and blush but that damn eye liner etc....makes me want to scream !! oh well I'll learn.

which brings me to what I want to say.....Who out there has gone shoping for some cute panties skirts shoes bras whatever, think they're gonna fit pay your hard earned $ get home and ooooops to small ? and now your stuck with them...Don't know aboout you but I can't wait to try my stuff on and I tend to become very um aroused when doing so and I tend to um leak a bit ;) I know the obvious thing to do is return the item but I would really feel bad if I were returning something with some um you know on it, silly I know but that's just me.....So if nothing else MAKE SURE IT FITS BEFORE YOU BUY IT ! thats' all........Luv Chris :p

Well, I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed at the topic after reading the thread title. :p

Very good, Sharon... Chris, that will come along with time. After many years, I now know what fits and what will look good on me. Chalk up the lost money to a learning experience.

Hugs,

Melissa :)

If it is a big box store like Walmart, I just ask if the item can be returned. If it is a smaller chain or a privately owned store, I usually try things on. Some interesting stories, but, the rest of the world doesnt care as much as you do. trust me. Mind you, it depends where you live. My worst experiences are buying bras, tops, jackets, etc on eBay, and dealing with dishonest sellers. good luck, loosen up, and enjoy yourself girl. wenda.

No silly questions on this site just silly people.

I'm not one of them though

I've sometimes bought stuff thats been way to big but never to small i'll squeeze into anthing. :D

Over here in the UK you can't return underwear anyway dew to hygine reasons.

I've got a pair of schoolgirl knickers that are suppose to be small and you could get two of me in them and i counldn't send them back :(

This could be true but you did have a little problem with that purple outfit didn't you. Still you're lucky. Most things are for uhm er 'shorter' ladies than myself. But I do have some design features that allow me to get away with a few things. Probably could get into your clothes fairly easy. Hey! I see somebody smiling, what the hell are YOU thinking I meant huh :p

Chris, I can relate! I consider what I do with respect to dressing as a hobby; it affords me all the same physical and emotional joy, relaxation, and human response that any other hobby of mine does. And, some of the same frustrations that some of my hobbies provide, as well; like the time I cut the bottom of a jewel box I was making too short - damn!

Anyway, like with any hobby, you can expect to lose a few $$$ here and there. However, I tend to start off with lower expense items until I somewhat master the technique, then go for the higher priced stuff. Until I figured out where the best place for me to hang my gun was, I didn't go for the $250.00 custom made holster - know what I mean?

The other day I grabbed several pair of women's pants off the rack and walked over to the men's dressing room to try them on - no one cared or even noticed. Frankly, I could have taken a bra in there with me and last night I happened to think I can probably even take a pair of heels in there with me, as well. When I was done trying on the women's pants, I mingled and blended them in with the same color men's pants in an equivelant size; I'm bad this way. I wish I could be there when some guy tries them on :)

I have lots of stuff the doesn't fit or just fit doesn't the way I want it to! You will learn over time though. When I shop, I will generally go through some of the clothes I have and look at the labels and try them on before I go. I have found also for example that say a size 9 skirt of 1 brand will fit me fine, but, the same size in a different brand will be way too big! I agree trying them on would be great, but not in my town..... and even when I'm out of town I've never had the guts to do it.

The larger dept. stores will accept returns! I just tell them "My wife" said she would like the next bigger size!

Heres a good tip the "Stretchy" types, like skirts and pants are great! They are a little more forgiving if they are a bit too small! Just an idea....
