And by Out, I mean, "Hi, I am new to crossdressing, and am unsure about whether I will use inserts or not, but I need some bras.."

I wouldn't even admit that much to myself a couple of months ago.

3,800 words in 3 posts on my Blog. Got carried away.

Cliff notes:

Dee wanted to see me in a bra that matched my panties.

Target online says they carry 40A.

I go alone to Target, eventually engage a SA in conversation. Get help. Use dressing room. Find 15 lb weight loss equaled 2" band size loss. Bought 38A bras.

Next went to Hispanic clothing store with youngish vibe on womens side. Bought shoes, top. One sales associate led to another till all five were involved with helping the nutty Norte Americano Fem. Met with amazement when I mentioned I had been in the other day with my WIFE.

Before I could post either story,I wanted to post one about a few days ago involving evil Mother trauma and then redemption in the same Mervyn's store 25 years apart all over chick denim.

...I was in a chatty mood..in person, and apparently in text afterward.

If you follow the link (http://barbaratalbot.blogspot.com/2007/07/fashion-outing.html), pack a lunch!

Just take a phone next time. I was worried about you when you were gone for so long. Little did I know while I was waiting at home that you were having the time of your life :hugs:

Dee, Oh how I can relate to this. Pre-cell phones my wife did this to me a several times. One time being two hours late from class while a group of them went to the bar to celebrate the end of class. She had just enough money to ride the bus home and could not ask someone for a dime.

Now we each have a cell phone and it is not uncommon for her to leave hers home or the ringer off. I even have the kids call me because mom is not home and they can not get a hold of her, or even they need to get to an appointment and mom is not there and her phone is at home.

Like everything else it comes down to communication.

Barb, I am glad you had a good time out and shopping. But CALL YOUR WIFE AND LET HER KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON. Even if you think it is no big deal. If you say 30 minutes and you are not home, call her even if you are on your way and 5 minutes away. And if you are running late or long and know it, advanced notice is even better.

As a side note: It is a strange feeling standing in a store with an arm full of femme clothes and have my wife call. Or be in a fitting room in the middle of trying something on and she calls. In the fitting room I just called her back when I was done.

I had mislayed my Cell Phone for days...I tried to borrow Dee's before I left, but The Teenager had borrowed the battery out of hers and left hers with his dead battery on a dead charger.

I kept thinking I should get cash back and call from a payphone, but I think I feared being reined in on my shopping rampage.

I do think if I could have called, I would have maybe spent more, because there was a pair of sailor-front capris that I wanted but wasnt sure how silly they would look and no dressing room for either gender at the Bodega. Dee would have said go ahead. Maybe I'll take her back there for a look, and to watch the jaw drop on the Bodega gals when we walk in with one or more of the offspring in tow. :)

I went shopping this morning at WalMart as Kelli. Shaved legs, painted toenails, flat sandals, denim skirt and a white top. I had a thong and a slip on as well as my 38C bra with new silicone breast forms in. Face fully mde up and wig. I could tell that people were looking at me. I heard a few chuckles through the grocery aisles. Finally a woman came up to me and asked me if I was a man or a woman. I answered that at the moment, I feel like a woman. She smiled and said that she would escort me throughout my shopping. After we completed my shopping list and I was ready to leave, she asked if I'd like to look at the sales items in the womens department. I hesitated and she grabbed my hand and led me over there. She helped me pick out a sweet pair of Tommy Hilfiger shorts and escorted me to the fitting rooms. She told the lady there that it was alright, I was with her. Oh, I guess I forgot to mention that she appeared to be a manager of some level. I went into the changing room to try the shorts on when she knocked at the door and said to be sure and let her see so she could ensure they fit right. I slipped out of my skirt and into the shorts. They were/are very short but seemed to fit. I opened the door slightly to see her and she opened it the rest of the way. She had me step out and turn around. She then said that I could go for a smaller size if I wanted them tight. I tyold her that they were/are fine the way they are and I didn't want to draw too much attention. She said that if she had my legs and ass she'd go a size smaller. I blushed and thanked her. I changed back into my skirt and we went to the checkout. She gave me her employee discount and then even walked me to my car. She gave me a quick peck on the cheek and told me to call her the next time I want to go shopping. I can't wait.

That is some customer service.

If my helpful sales girl had been that helpful, Dee would never let me out of the house again! (at least not unsupervised!)

hmmm come to think of it, when I was under dressing to go to Walmart myself, she did send our twelve year old daughter with. I assumed it was to reign in Barbara's Shopping addiction.

(I did buy two pink shirts...but they were male oxfords!)
