A Dream Come True

I was at Wal-Mart during my lunch break earlier today, looking at clothing in the juniors' department. (I was wearing 3-1/2" heels, a mini-skirt, and tank top, but hadn't done much in the way of makeup and hadn't done anything with my hair.) I heard a woman talking nearby. It took me a few moments to realize that she was talking to me. Well, next thing I knew, she was giving me fashion advice. She said that she'd already been through this with her boss, so apparently I'm not the first CD she's helped. She advised me on colors (I'm "spring"), makeup (tone down the blush), and even bra cup size (apparently, with my height a larger bust would make me better-proportioned). Now, far from being offended by any of this, I was extremely grateful for the advice. Best of all, she gave me her phone number. And as soon as my work schedule allows me to get away from the office for a couple of hours, we'll be going shopping together. I've fantasized about having a GG for a friend, a friend who would give me wardrobe and makeup tips, who I could go shopping with, etc. So this is like a dream come true for me!

sidney just the outher day i was at wallmart and i thought this place has every thing you could ever wan't................now i hear from you that thay are like giveing out fashion advice to cders.....wow walmart rocks.................so happy for you to have had souch a fine wallmart shopping trip .......enjoy................

I know exactly how you feel having a GG friend to help. I used to have a friend like that and her help was unblievable. Unfortunately she passed away. I think this was a once in a lifetime thing and miss her very much.

I went to a store last week that carries larger size shoes. I told the lady what I was looking for and she said, "Well, these are ladies shoes." She hadn't noticed that I was wearing hose under my shorts (otherwise, I was dressed as a man.) I could tell she was a little befuzzled. She was trying to be professional, but she was a little shaken by this new experience. The other clerk, who I later learned that she has a CD cousin, started helping and the two of them set me up with some shoes. I asked if I could see them with a skirt. We started shopping around the store and we picked out an outfit. I wore it around the store while we picked out another one. We sat and talked. It was WONDERFUL! The three of us hung out for 20-30 minutes in the store. Me dressed fully enfemme. I didn't buy anything. But after I changed back into my clothes, she offered to let me come back, even if I don't buy anything. She said it is ok. I felt like giving her a hug. Maybe I have a GG to help me as well!

Oh, we were the only ones in the store. At one point, she offered to lock the doors. I told her not to...
