i just finished reading the Helen Boyd book " my husband, betty". for the vast amjority, it made me think about what i put the wife through and makes me wonder why. it did make me think.

i also looked at "dress for success" - not for me as it was about famous crossdressers...

i checked them out of the library. spent several days on jury duty - to library at lunch. while down town, i noticed many women wearing dresses and skirts. hose was non eixistant.

any other books tha you might suggest?

If you're into fiction, my favorite is a romantic thriller about a reluctant crossdresser and a beautiful government agent called The Jessica Project (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9781591294597&itm=2&pers=n)

Try Julia Serano's Whipping Girl. Excellent thought-provoking book the delves deep into a lot of the underlying issues regarding trans.

Leslie Feinberg's Transgender Warriors and Vanessa Sheridan's Crossing Over are two excellent books.

I read a book called "Out & About: The Emancipated Crossdresser" by Lacey Leigh. Its well written and very informative. I'd recommend it to all CDers.
Hopefully, Lacy will be at the Southern Comfort Conference in September. I would love to meet Lacy.
