Okay, my kids and wife are at the football game, I've got $75 bucks to spend and four hours (so I think) to go out and have fun. So it's break out the stash and choose a blue skort, white t-shirt and blue cami top to go over it, makeup and Mickey Mouse purse and it's out to car. And, in a bow to Karren's preparedness, I take an extra bag with my wig and few spare clothes and makeup wipes to clean up in a hurry if needed. I headed to a road side turn out to put on the wig because I didn't want to scare the neighbors when I left (guy two doors down is a total redneck with no love for TG's).

Anyway, I head to the other end of the city for the Sears Clearance store, and Sears is having a warehouse sale :) First thing I want is a denim mini so I wander the store and find two that I like. One is $10 and the other $15. Off to the change rooms and I waltz in like I own the joint. Woohoo both skirts fit (they're 12's) but the one is just drop-dead cute. Of course it's the $15 ;) 'Kay, we're not done yet. Keep wandering picking stuff off the racks and find three more skirts and a black blouse -- looks hot on the hanger. Get back to the change room, slip on the skirts and find two that I like better than the hotness-personified denim one :) And the blouse? Well, it was a 12 and didn't fit my forearms since it was 3/4 sleeves. If they would have had a 14 I probably would have bought it. Oh well.

Anyway, picked up the two skirts and walked to various checkouts, trying to find one that didn't have too long a line up. No such luck because it's a clearance store and anybody buying has tons of stuff. But when the girl rang through the purchases I was the one laughing because one skirt was on 60% off the $10. So I got both for $14 :D The pic below is my favorite of the two. http://comreich.ods.org/~krichard/pics-200707/IMG_2695.JPG

After Sears, it was back to Zellers. I picked up a pair of capris, a dress, a couple of bras and a long shirt with fooler top. Walking into the change room the girl called me back with a "Ma'am, how many items?" That's right, she called me "Ma'am". How 'bout that :) The capris fit but nothing else caught my eye. So I wandered over to the shoes and ended up picking up two pairs of wedgie sandles

Then it was back home to de-princess before the kids and wife got home. But I snapped a couple of pics before. The skirt is above...the capris below.

If I got clocked over the night, nobody made a fuss and the change rooms were a blast. Looking forward to the time I can do this again.

Oh yeah, you can see the new sandles in the pictures too :) The black pair, even though they're 10's, fit really nicely.

Thanks all for the nice comments. I have to admit, when I first tried on the skirt, I looked in the mirror and just melted. The comments I usually get on my legs are "look at the two bulls squirming where normal people have calves :)" I guess a tight skirt and heels make them a bit more presentable ;)

Cool!! Love it when a plan comes together!! And you look fantastic!!

But I am a little concerned...... You actually own a Mickey Mouse purse?? Shouldn't that be a Minnie Mouse purse? Mickey's a male mouse ya know? Hehe. I have a Minnie Mouse towel... That my daughter had when she was young and I use it for ice hockey... After a hard game, nothing like wiping the sweat off your body in a room full of manly guys with a bright pink Minnie Mouse towel!! :D

Yep, a Mickey Mouse purse -- little hobo number I picked up in DisneyWorld. My wife had a big tote with Mickey all done up in sequins, and this would be the companion to it. She'd kill me if she knew that I had it, but then, she'd kill me if she found the rest of my stuff too :o

Cool!! Well except the killing part... :D. I do have a Mickey Mouse tie and a tie tack from Disney World, wear them to very important meetings to display my degree of inthusiasm!!! Lol. But don't have fem Mouseware.. And its not on my list of must have feminine fashion accessories!! Hehe
