I arrived in drab with panties and bra underneath. I went to a more quite place. I went to a thrift mart. They had so much pretty stuff. I browsed around and selected a black dress with red dots and an all white sundress. I walked to the back of the store and asked the nice fitting room girl if I could try them on. She pointed with a smile, no key required. I got in the room and I was just standing there feeling like "I am actually here!"
I tried the dresses on but only the white one fit fine. It was a little big since there was no medium. I left the room, gave the girl the dresses and kept browsing! I found this really cute, airy pink dress and a black dress with white designs. I then headed to the skirts and found 2 really tiny mini denim skirts. I went to the back and asked again and another smile. I was in HEAVEN! They all fitted fine. I took the clothes and gave them back to the girl. I felt just like a girl!
I then browsed the panties and bras and saw some cute stuff and bought a pair of pink and white boyshorts.
I didn't buy any dresses. I just wanted to try them on in the store. I can't believe I actually did it girls!

i know i love it the only problem i have with it is finding cute pink out fits in my size, although i will say i was at wully last night and found this really cute black top, and a skirt to match with it, i was going to buy them both but then realized that i only had enough money for one so i choose the top, i since i have skirts and jeans that would go with it already

What a great feeling!! Well done!! One thing I try to do is to buy something if the sales associate is nice. Next time you go back in you are a paying customer. My last thrift store adventure snagged me a $5 skirt and $3 top, plus a made a sales associate friend. What's that, 2 Starbuck's coffee?

It's fantastic that you managed to do this Tamma!:clap::clap:
I just want to add my :2c:and agree with Kristen. It's perfectly OK to try things on and not buy anything if you don't like it. But if you do it too often.... Well, my daughter worked at a womens clothing store, and a CD would come in to try things on. After several times, he was not "welcome" in the store (as in escorted out)because he never bought anything, just tried things on.
I'm not raining on your parade Tamma, I just want to give everyone who reads this something to think about.
Buy clothes, make yourself feel better and help the economy.
Hugs, Lori

One thing I regret not doing is I should have walked outside of the changing rooms and asked the girl how it fit me.
Next time girls.
